  1. Way to go Jim, it is a good feeling to master an aircraft and you should give yourself a pat on the back. Feel better and get well soon.
  2. Great review and a learning experiance at the same time. I'm a fan of the older classic's and this aircraft will fit right in.
  3. There is a nice Beagle here that I flew in the GARSA rally. Great aircraft.
  4. Your a good heli pilot Dai, you don't give yourself enough credit. Nice tour, the scenery looks great and yes it sure does look cold. Freak est dans l'oeil du spectateur
  5. Looking good and looking forward to the finished product. It is alot of work getting a full aircraft put together and I wish you all the best.
  6. JAD does not own any sponge's never mind soap Ha, your copilot has been meaning to talk to you about that.
  7. HaHa, that's a good one. Can't pass up this party now, mark me down. Mr.B in his office, paranoid as usual. Get help
  8. Looks great. Your basic logo paint seems to look good on any aircraft you place it on. Are you lowering your overhead by saving on fuselage cleaning though?
  9. It's scenery for what ails ya in FSX. Give it an award on top of a award(+11).
  10. A great look at one of my favorite airports, not to mention the surrounding area, kudos. Thanks for the looksee.
  11. Company update for SoHigh Air Services SoHigh Air Services is pleased to announce the opening of a new base in Canada. The new digs are at Nanaimo(CYCD) on Vancouver Island. I have hired a Senior Captain named Lacey Hull, whom I have known intimately closely for many years. She is highly skilled as a pilot and will run the day to day operations. Welcome to our company Lacey, we are proud to have you aboard. We have at this time leased another Beaver for her use, it is a rugged aircraft in perfect condition and with a large cargo capacity. This move will keep overhead down and allow the compan
  12. Nice shots and a great collecton of aircraft, like a mini airshow. Lucky you! Your drink pic's made me thirsty
  13. Hope your new machine rocks the sim.
  14. Yee haw....now that would be something to behold. I agree Hmmm, I quess it would be quite expensive and I know they wouldn't take my wife in trade(she's the only thing I have thats really expensive ).....oh well
  15. I liked the wrap around screen in the simulator. When is someone going to figure a way to bend an LED screen into a nice 46" package?
  16. These airframes certainly do get around. Imagine the stories if cockpits could talk. Thanks for the additional info.
  17. Great pic's Dai. Hope you didn't crash in that sweet looking heli simulator. An ejection seat in a heli, never would have known. Does it shoot you up into the rotors?

It's funny, we have a tendency to look at our gauges too much when flying the sim compared to RW pilots but when we can't see outside we forget to rely on the gauges and panic sets in. Wish we had a radio altimiter in some of the smaller GA type aircraft. When room allows, I have added it to some of my bush planes for those nasty foul weather flights. I have even added the altitude callout gauge to some when there is no room on the dash.
  19. Nice shot Jim, hope you were wearing your
  20. Like riding in a Caddy after driving a Hummer. Looking good Jim.
  21. Great pic's and update. Things are looking good on the sunny side.
  22. Sounds like a prison party Congrats on the comeback I think I'll wait for your 1 million earned in cash party, maybe we'll get some Cheese Wiz for our crackers.

Nice shots. I fly with real world weather all the time out of Concrete and find that layer there alot. Most times it is clear underneath. Even using the GPS it can be a bit nerve racking when decending down through the soup in those mountainous regions. Sometime you forget to breathe untill you come back out under the layer. Forget about when there is no visibility, wouldn't want that in RW situations. Just hope you have enough fuel to find another airport nearby that is abit better off I guess. I know in FSX that ATC will not let you land when visiability is like that but what about the airpo
  24. It sure is a beautiful valley and the realism of the runway really is amazing and adds to the overall effect(waiting for sale ). Great pics, thanks for showing.
  25. Makes me wonder what this plane would look like with a modern, poster type paint job. Thanks for the history.
