  1. "Competition between airlines sure are getting out of hand"
  2. Haha, I'll probably get lost, better bring a copilot.
  3. Nice looking aircraft with a well done VC. Half the fun of flying those big birds is learning how to do it correctly. It can be alot of work but when done right can be truly satisfying.
  4. Miami, Florida? Looking forward to my first ATWC
  5. I firgured I should justify my clues so here it goes, Firstly, I tried to use mis-direction(another magician term ) in my clues and my banter is also sprinkled with some terms. The first word in my posting is Ta-da the definition is something you or a magician says right before showing something exciting. I will go back/edit and highlight in red the words or phrases that I used that I felt had something to do with magic and that would reinforce any correct guesses. Clue#1. Rumor or Rumer Willis is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore and they both have homes in the town of Hailey, Id
  6. HeHe...it only hurts for a little while and hobbies are important for our mental wellbeing after all.
  7. Ta-da :clapping:Ya got me Marcel Good work. I humbly turn it over to you for the next one. BTW Which clues gave it away?
  8. Very enjoyable read. A review and tutorial in one.
  9. Thats one expensive bandaid. Ouch. You'll make it up in no time.
  10. James is the closest so far, one more clue, 5. Would aircraft safety go up if you put a condom on an airplane?

    Cessnock Takeoff

Instead of a flat map look it gives it a 3D look. I have done this to my other GPS units also. I think it gives it a mutch better look and it's a big help when flying in the tight valleys and looking for a way out. It also includes a air traffic radar. The 3Dshader texture and traffic mod was a change I made to the default GPS CAB file that I read about in a forum thread. I'll be happy to make the gauge's availible to you(Box.net link) or if your interested in doing it yourself, check out these links. 12. Good luck, make sure you include the price of repairs into the cost of any used aircraft to bring it up to 100%.
  13. It is or was a DC-3 but you know how the military loves to re-designate things Kieran. First It's one thing and then the next thing you know it's something else, very confusing. I don't recall it ever being called a Spectra at the time(could be wrong)probably had another nickname, another thing the military likes to do.
  14. Wrong on both all I'm sorry to say jaydor but your close. I can tell you that it is roughly between Ontario and Paris if that helps. For the folks that aren't familier with the aircraft in the third clue don't feel bad, you might not want to be. From on close or from afar it was pretty spooky.(double clue)
  15. Time for another reveal, This kinda has something to do with the airport name:
  16. Nice one or two....Both plane and pic.
  17. Hmm... I thought the beacon was switched on as soon as you power up to warn ground workers of an aircraft about to start up and landing lights and strobe to be switched on at hold point before entering onto runway. Strobe would be blinding in ramp or gate area.
  18. Thanks for that. I guess the recognition make up for the landing lights then. I never noticed that their was a physical difference between the two and always thought the names were interchangable. I guess if a landing light is placed on the front gear it would need something else to take it's place. You learn something new every day. That's pretty neat being able to add or take away the ASI control from the aircraft. That is a real nice looking cockpit, hmmm and me coming up on a birthday, this sure would make a nice addition........
  19. Just hang loose Ka po'e apau
  20. Ouch, that had to sting a little, good recovery. It doesn't really say in the manual about how many times you can use your insurance before they cancel so It's a good idea to pay cash when your able. Would hate to lose the insurance right before a major expense.
  21. Try clicking on his company name and it should show you a map and a bit more info. Nice addon to your sig Jim.
  22. I guess if you want to dance you have to be expecting to get stepped on once in awhile.
