thats a trip I have always wanted to do on a bike , i have been to scotland on an rd350 with my wife before we were married, with a tent across the handlebars, it pissed down all week, i have never been so wet, the crowning glory was being told by some tourists that urquart castle was amazing so we were staying at fort william, rode the bike to the perishing castle in the rain only to find it was a ruin with no shelter at all, to top it off nessie didnt even show her head.however where i live know has the best biking roads in the world , no contest, if you want to see a video i will send it to

Yep, sort of ... it was my late Dad who was in the RAF and in his 21 year tour we lived at many RAF bases both in the UK and abroad for about 3 years each, in Germany my Dad was based at RAF Wildenrath that were flying the GR1 Harriers at the time but we lived off base in the German town of Geilenkirchen for about a year before getting accomodation at the nearby military base of Geilenkirchen ... was age 13 to 16 then and went to a shool called Kent in Hostert that was an ex military hospital for all the military brats ... hated that school but loved my teenage years in Germany. I had a si

sorry for the late answer , no moving around was part of life we knew nothing different so it was "normal" my wife was the same she lived in pakistan, india, singapore and indonesia, her dad worked for avery scales. my birthday is july10th and yes my freinds are true friends we spent 3 hours gassing away on skype the other day and it is as if we have never been apart, when we are together we are back in our teens mentally, it is only the mirror that reminds us otherwise. for their 50th we went to fort lauderdale in january my wife went into work asked for an extra day off work on monday, her

pain is a strange thing, sometims you can get above it for quite some time and sometines it grinds you down, i raced bikes in my youth and have compressed vertebra, both at the top and bottom of my spine however 80% of the time i can ignore these injuries except when i lift a weight, when i moved house recently , i went so far beyond the pain barrier but i paid for it later and it is only now 3 months later that i can sit in a chair in a nearly normal shape, however what i have pales into insignificance to what these guys suffer, maybe as age grinds on i will suffer more but it is of my own ma -
Is it me or are the planes better in fs9 than fsx? as far as exterior reproduction is concerned, i certainly suppose that it is much easier to create a new a/c and paint scheme in fs9 because there are about 100 a/c made in fs9 for every one in fsx can anyone tell me why please

tim-a we need to talk a bit whilst i have built my own p.c's for over 20 years i would like to get a handle on how to accomplish this. M31 i take it you spent time in germany at Hm services? I also keep my fsim on a separate drive from my pics and vids etc I also saw that ftx is coming into the UK, I am in 2 minds about this as i know gary summons and flew him around popham so he could get some good air to ground pics and whilst he does a good job he is getting overtaken by what ftx can produce. perhaps they will lay off the major airports and leave them to him while they do their thing wit

Hi Joe, what you may or may not know, is that the airfield manager at popham was originally taken on charge to get the lancaster that charles church had bought in canada airworthy and then be flight engineer as they flew it across the pond. it did take some time toi get it all together but they did accomplish it in the end, only to put the plane in the british aerospace hanger in manchester for the roof to fall in on it , but if you want someone to do a good evenings talk **** will do it with a slide presentation as well, btw he used to be the head of the strathallen collection so he knows a

Hardly a week goes by without some new and tempting piece of scenery or new aircraft is released, how is this affecting your simming? I used to fly around 4 main regions, australia, nw us, and europe and also the caribbean. However as ftx and others are releasing more and more scenery (NZ) i am starting to have to make a concious decision of what theatre i want to fly in, rather than just buy whatever comes out willy nilly. Whilst I fly 75% of the time in tubeliners i dont get a kick out of setting up a flight and walking away for an hour or two, so for me flights of up to 90 minutes are what

can i be a bit critical here ? without causing a storm? the engines start too quickly in reality they would turn many revolutions before slowly catching and running up, the smoke i suppose is an fsx thing so not much can be done with that, it is reasonably effective. however us fsx nutters have been spoilt in recent times and i find the cockpit detail something that would have been nice a few years ago but comparing it with recent releases not up to the mark similarly the exterior again looks a few years behind the times. i will wait for the recently announced pmdg version. i do not wish to

i have just spent over an hour trying to open a photobucket account , i have finally given up, i dont know how many people are affected by this stupidity but it must affect thousands if not more and to the loss of photobucket. what am i talking about? that brain numbingly stupid necessity to type 2 names in a box, despite being able to read them quite clearly and yes put capitals where needed etc etc etc i have now attempetd at least 30 different word combinations with any luck at all so they can do without my membership what a total nonse !! i could screammmmmmmm

Alan, I wish you well , i had a friend with the same problem some years ago, i think what you are about to undergo can lightly described as somewhat uncomfortable, I do not envy you, however if it allows you to still fog a mirror when it is placed under your nose ( a basic requirement to be a pilot) then once must grin and bear it, chin up!

i dont know how many here "play" with the cfg settings but i have always run a LOD radius of at least 6.5000 (itdefaults to 4.5000 if you enter the settings page) but can run it up to 8.5 except when running the pmdg ngx a size that one know it all there says is stupid (shows what he knows) but if you are running a clear day the results are very good, another thing I have been experimenting with is texture max load (1024 stock) 4096 when using ftx stuff i have been using it up to 8192 before getting shimmering has anyone else tried modifying these settings or others?

I wont get drawn into the apple versus pc discussion, but i have to admit M.S with windows 8 are playing right into the hands of Apple, Apple will be laughing all the way to the bank

i got to hand it to you that pmdg 737 combined with ftx scenery sure look realistic !

couldnt agree more i am totally happy with fsx modified by ftx, aerosoft, uk2000 and a few others that will do me for a few years, it just reminds me of what some call progress, like the grounding of concord, that was a sad day. some peoples ideas of progress is 3 giant steps backward.

i can hardly hold myself back with anticiption i so look forward to flying the stearman from hawaii to alaska i presume that m.s will arrange for 15 aircraft carriers to be positioned mid ocean for me to make the crossing, and a week off work to undertake the journey, such excitement!!! what awards can i add to my coconut bra?

i could not agree more the cancellation of the latest nimrod was more important to the uk than TSR2 i have friends who were working on it , it was a major step foward and the envy of the world as it was singularly good, although it looked much like the earlier a/c which were a development of the old comet airframe this wa s something completely new with no similar components to the original design yet another government c-ck up.
