brett 2,315
I know what you mean Joe. I search for new topics, click on this one and the next thing I know I am searching for an airport for the next two hours. Never enough time due to other commitments but it's just so addicting. Clem Wu 1
Looks like it was a toughie! Congrats Brett, its 7 Bays Airport (73WA) and the reason it looks different as its with Orbx's CRM scenery. Congrats, it was a difficult one! Thanks to the others for our guesses! And the clue's answer is that Washington is nicknamed the Evergreen State.
brett 2,315
Thanks Clem, that was the hint that helped me track it down. Good thing Joe was busy because he was breathing down my neck on that one. The next airport lies on what was once a field of gold. Over time things change and it becomes just another concrete laden memorial to a political leader. Good luck and good skill to all.......
ddavid 149
How's about: ATWC II - Leg 96 (those were the days!!): Ajaccio - Napolean Bonaparte Airport (LFKJ). Thanks for the memories, Brett! Cheers - Dai.

allardjd 1,853
The runway layout is very much like EGKK, but other things don't match up, so that doesn't seem to be it. John
rob16584 42
Looks too hilly for EGKK

CSoul 182
Clue 4: The Inuit name of the nearby city means "forefinger," alluding to the geography of the place, which protrudes into the sea. The first Europeans to sight this cape were Russian.

CSoul 182
Well, since this seems to be a tough one, I'll give the state. The airport is somewhere in Alaska, somewhere pointy.
ddavid 149
How's about: PAPU - Point Hope, Alaska. Nice clues, Marcel - I was wandering all over eastern Russia! Cheers - Dai.

brett 2,315
Zamperini-Torrance KTOA is my guess since your playground is around LA lately. Just about 10 miles away from the Intl airport.
