  1. A skeleton walks into a bar, orders a pint..............and a mop!
  2. Instinct told him to run North by Northwest, It was plane to see that was the right decision!
  3. Westray to Papa Westray in the Scottish Islands. It is scheduled for 3 minutes but in good weather has been done in 45 seconds! The usual aircraft on this route is the BN Islander, however I went in for a bit of overkill and used my BEA DH Heron. She managed the short strips,(just) but did the job then headed towards the mainland. (For some reason the pics loaded slightly out of order, but what the hell.) Thanks for viewing.
  4. This Spitfire Mk IXT is the aircraft originally flown by the late Nick Grace but now operated by my friend Caroline Grace as a living tribute to her husbands dream. http://www.ml407.co.uk/ The model is flown in FSX and is a freeware example. Thanks for viewing
  5. The Northrop SM-62 Snark cruise missile that is. The USAF lost so many test aircraft off the coast of Cape Canaveral that someone described the area as Snark infested waters! In reality the Snark was a glorious failure, by the time it reached service in 1958 it was already becoming obsolete and was only deployed operationally until 1961. It was supposed to have a very long intercontinental range but many were lost in malfunctions. It was however one of the very first modern cruise missiles and paved the way for the weapons we see today. The model is date stamped 1957 but this one was a repop
  6. Glad to have you back Guys. I was missing the company.
  7. "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened". Words spoken on the occasion of Vulcan 558s last ever flight. (originally written by Dr Seuss.)

  9. Thankfully the pilot is ok, not yet sure of damage severity to the aircraft. Either way she's out of action for a while. Just hope not permanently. http://www.somersetlive.co.uk/news/somerset-news/watch-emergency-landing-yeovilton-sea-79119
  10. Thanks for the feedback guys. I love this old aircraft. I'd love to see some more versions of the aircraft produced, such as the High roof later versions used by Transport Command and various small civil operators. Also some of the WW2 versions without the gun turrets of which there were many. It would also make a great Air Hauler add-on for you guys that fly those missions. The Anson served her country well and deserved the accolades foisted upon her.
  11. That's what I have been doing John.
  12. Cheers Guys, many of my military bases have lots of parking areas that show up as possible start points. Just deserted bases though. (It's all rather odd.) What I need is someone who's an expert on Flight sims to have a look at and optimise my set up. Sadly my PC engineer knows nothing about flight sims. I'm somewhat isolated down here as there is no-one that I know of anywhere nearby to help. Joe is in Southampton which is about 50 miles away and Geoff is in Hastings which is a good 70 miles in the opposite direction. I'm just sort of winging it! LOL
  13. Well, I've been to various military airfields but not seen one AI on any of them.
  14. My thoughts exactly, I won't be buying anytime soon.
  15. Good set of pics. We don't see many of these on here.
  16. Nice little bird, great fun to buzz around in. Nicely caught here.
