  1. Two screenshot post from me in the same night.. I think that's a first.. This is a recreation of a flight a flew earlier in the year (as close as i got it). It also features my last three add-ons: The JF/CLS A320, one of five airports in Aerosofts German Airports 3 and Aerosoft AES. Also in the shots is actually the first add-on I got for FSX. Aerosoft Mega Airport Arlanda... But I can hear your complaints.. less talking and more shots.. Parked at Gate 65 at ESSA. Unlocking AES at ESSA also adds animated jetways so you actually can board the plane A busy time of day in Stockholm..
  2. Did a small hop in the Beech Duchess from Bremen to L- Blankensee last night. It was dark, but UTX helped to keep the ground luminated... I only had 2 miles visibility in rain and fog on the approach.. ILS is a good friend of mine
  3. Spectacular, as always when you're involved
  4. Good thing we have the progressive taxi option i FSX
  5. Because if there are multiple users running it on the same machine it would be a nightmare to have to redo all your settings after someone else has been up flying...
  6. Berlin Tegel Tower: "Air Berlin 103 cleared to land on runway 27L. Number 2 to land, follow the Speedbird on final" What speedbird?? Oh, that one.. Me thinks it's best to abort The worst part is that this happend two flights in a row!
  7. Great flight Mut.. Are those 10 points redeemable at JF?? I do belive it was creedence clearwater revival that did Bad moon rising... pardon the possible typo.. A great looking A320 by the way.. the VC is a big step up from the JF/CLS one...
  8. Congratulations Dai.. After seeing the joy in my parents eyes when Kasper was born I'm guessing you're in for a treat.. As for Johns list of good presents I can add that a plastic saxophone works just as fine as a drumset
  9. And my mix for the month A lost Me 109 somewhere over Kent.. A Spitfire doing a low level roll over Alderney on it's way home.. And the last one. A Hurricane closing in on the relative safety of home, or at least Dover. All models from the JF Battle of Britain package, so they should have seen action in 1940 as far as I can find out.
  10. I doubt that Ultimate Traffic would delete a default airport.. so I'm guessing that Traffic X added it.
  11. Since there has been no new service packs or updates for Traffic X since May 2009 I'm guessing they just didn't care!
  12. I strongly suspect it was the plane I saw about a year ago at a local airshow.. http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3485 There's two shots of it in this tread... Sadly the 65 year old pilot passed away shortly after the crash... there's a shot of the plane after the crash here.. http://hd.se/skane/2010/08/21/biltemas-spitfire-pilot-i-i-norge/
  13. I have that one too, plus one more that I can't remeber the designation of.. also russian.. I think me and John narrowed it down to a problem with the AFCAD:s that comes with Traffic X in another tread somewhere here.. The real position is 46.03.25.04N 38.14.29.10E but in the AFCAD they set it to 46.03.25.04N 38.14.29.10W. I even tried to set the correct coordinates for the airport in some editor, but it had to be edited for every segment of runway, taxiway etc. Plus I think it also turned out to be a mirror image of the real thing, so to get it right you would have to rebuild the whole airpo
  14. Ahh. yeah, that sound familiar.. he refused to fly with any other airline.. right... as for sparks, I can agree with that... that's what was shown in the video clip I was refering to... If you don't mind the swedish subtitles and commentator you can find it here.. http://www.aftonbladet.se/webbtv/nyheter/utrikes/article7710165.ab
  15. http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/2010/08/31/346831/pictures-qantas-747-uncontained-engine-failure.html First saw this on the webpage for a swedish tabloid... They had some video footage of what they claimed was a qantas flight where the engine exploded during flight... might have been a bit over the top.. but who's surprised.. But it looks like that engine won't fly again, or what do you think... Good thing they made it back down in one piece though... And speaking of qantas. I remember reading a many years back that qantas was the only major airline that had never had a fatal acciden
  16. Congrats Brian.. This is a great place to hang out.. makes me feel so young compared to many other online places
  17. Windows Games Live doesn't automatically mean online gaming. For example GTAIV:Episodes from Liberty City is Windows Games Live connected. But that only means that you can chose to store your saved games etc online so you can get hold of them if playing on a different computer. It also enables you to share your progress in the game through the Windows Live webpage. Sort of the same way as a Steam-game shows your progress by unlocking achievements by completing specific in-game tasks. So it could be that it just enables you to brag about your accumulated flight hours and so on via Windows Li
  18. Is anyone here flying on their server on a regular basis?? If what they state on their website is the way it works in reality it sound like a nice place to try Online-flying...
  19. Hi Rob. No need for you to check it. I got an answer from JF-support last night where they confirmed that I needed to do it the way I do, and from what I read between the lines that's the way they want it. But thanks anyway.
  20. I can see your point, and my complaints was directed to the model it self and not your review. I hope that was clear in my post.... But just to check, did you have the same experience as me with regards to the radios and the MCDU from a true C&D setup? Because the response I got from JF support was that the MCDU and radio should be powered on once the battery switch and the APU + APU generator was online.. Sent them my default flight info on tuesday last week and asked them to see if they could reproduce my problem, and havn't heard back from them since.
  21. Great review Rob. And a great plane to fly, I can second that. My only problem is that I feel like the Master Avionics Button is missing. If you start your flight from a true C&D setup there's no way to ensure power supply to the radios or the MCDU, other than binding a key to "Master Avionics" in the settings.. or use CTRL+E to start the engines...
  22. And here comes a very late, but big and sincere thank you to all of you.. Still on vacation for another week, and I havn't been online as much as usual so I missed this completely...
  23. Some great shots that should be hard to beat, but having taken my three shots I might as well post them... All on the same theme, and in the same area.. First of a pass over the Swedish Royal Castle and Stockholm City Hall at 700 feet. Taking it down a few feet to 500 and passing the Stockholm Globe Arena. And finally passing the Kakn
  24. If we are taking a roundtrip in europe on the way back take a look at Rossvoll (ENRA) in the northern parts of Norway. The ILS for runway 32 runs down a fjord, at a heading of 077. With FS Global it's not an easy airport to land at, even in a small propeller plane... not sure what it's like in the default scenery though...
  25. Looks great jankees.. And beeing a swede, it's always nice to see a repaint of a swedish plane.. As for the real life original luckily the crew survived the crash if I remember correctly, unlike the poor souls on the DC-3.
