  1. You really made the c-130 look good in those shots Adian. good job.
  2. Great shots Phil... and it looks like there were more banda ache scenery to chose from for FS2004.
  3. Exactly! And I dare say that everyone that contributes does so in a civilized manner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks everybody. It was a fun leg to fly, but it took it's time. And most of it was flown with my son sleeping on my arm or strapped to my chest Both the connie and the cat is great fun to fly, but there's not much time to admire the view. Good thing I had FSrecorder to take the shots. Now it's back to enjoying my vacation again. Have a great summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Welcome to the leg of the beast! Starting up a new Air freight company can be hard. The jobs hadn't come in at the rate I had hoped for my new company Channel Isle Cargo, based on Alderney. But after selling my old company "We haul when you call" with good profit cash wasn't a big issue, yet. And just working for myself again, and actually doing the flying instead of managing a big company with 10 planes was a relief. One early morning I was sitting in my office, shared with the ATC at the airport, I was waiting for something to do. At 7.15 Am the phone rang Channel Isle Cargo, how can
  6. Great shots overall, and that 777 is a beauty..
  7. I do love flying the A400M in FSX.. so i'm a bit jealous of you right now....
  8. The difference from gasoline and diesel is that they aren't really flammable in a liquid form, and at normal temperatures liquid is the natural state for those fuels. It's the correct mixture of air (oxygen) and fuel that is highly flammable.. I recall a Mythbusters episode where the tried this out. A line of gasoline will burn, but at a very slow rate (you could easily outrun it on foot, and it's really the vapour burning, not the liquid. Diesel, and even jet-fuel, poured on to the ground couldn't be lit at all with a torch. They also tried to fire a tracer round in to a gasoline tank, and n
  9. Great shots Kieran. The fire truck was a nice touch.. with asian writing on it and all... But the plane.. that could have won the Screenshot competion for ugliest plane a few months back
  10. Great flight Aidan! Would love to see the A380 in real life.. must be a massive sight. But I do belive it will take some time before we have one landing at Stockholm-Arlanda...
  11. Found this huge, zoomable, panorama shot of Munich Airport while doing some surfing. http://www.gigapan.org/gigapans/6130/ Impressive details even at maximum zoom...
  12. Great edit Simon! The slight blur of the planes really gives the feeling of motion in the shot, even if I agree with Joe that the one in the background might be a bit much. Apart from what Joe said I only have one remark. I'm missing the shadow of the plane in the foreground. Based on the shadow from the plane on the right it feels like it should be at least partly visable at the bottom of the shot... But that's just my opinion of it....
  13. Beatiful shots Mut... Job well done
  14. I was thinking the same thing Kieran, but you beat me to it.
  15. Disabling the scenery layer was more thought as a way of identifying the addon causing the problem, and not as a permenent solution to it. Editing the AFCAD was a fairly easy operation, once I found the reason for the large amount of errors the compiler found... But it's all solved by now, so if anyone else is running TrafficX and having this problem I'd be more than happy to provide the corrected AFCAD.
  16. Same here, and with the Office picture manager in office 2007 converting them to JPG ain't to much of a hassle.
  17. Took a look on my old computer, where ADE was already installed. And TrafficX is the culprit.
  18. I do agree, but i'm a bit biased i think
  19. Looking at the history and statistics of the world cup it should go to Brazil or one of the african nations since Brazil is the only country to win the world cup outside of it's home continent (if you count north and south america as one continent...) And if Brazil can preform as they did during parts of the game against N. Korea they do look good for the title..
  20. I'll do some digging once I have some software to dig with installed again.... but from what you pointed out I could always try do disable the TrafficX scenery layers and see if the problem remains and from that also figure out where it originated from.. But that will have to wait until I get some sleep.. I knew I could get some good pointers in here. Thanks John
  21. Great to see you out and about again Dai.. Feel a bit bad for not beeing able to help in setting you free, but those that stepped up to the challange did a great job.. @Mut: Loved the video.. are you using FRAPS for recording, or some other application?
  22. In ATWC II Saba was on the flight plan to start with, but was later scratched.. I remember this because I had planned to bid for that leg and was a bit surprised to see it gone once the bidding started...
  23. Hi everyone. Ran in to a little snag while flying over the south of England the other night. Did some googling without finding a proper solution, but I'm guessing there's a few here that frequently flies in this part of the world, maybe someone has a solution ready at hand. The problem as it happened. I was doing a ferry flight in AH from Exeter to Yeovilton (EGDY). When ATC switched me over to Yeovil tower (122.1) I instantlly got Middle Wallop ATIS in my speakers with the tower pestering me about not responding to his transmission in the short pauses between ATIS repetions.. Same thing
  24. So far there really hasn't been that many great matches.. the only team that has really played well in my opinion is Germany.. But the opposition wasn't the best, and they did get good help from the Ref..
  25. Totally missed this post.. so a very late, but very big Happy Birthday to you Mut...
