  1. Thks for your msg, Joe. Looking up this thread you will see I already explained to Brian who made the same suggestion why I can't take anymore commitments as all my free time is already booked ( and I forgot to mention when not on the PC I am a nature photographer as second hobby... )
  2. You're welcome... I know what you mean, I had two of the little buggers... and now they know themselves what it's like !
  3. File name is Standard.xml, it's located in c:/users/yourname/Appdata/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX/Controls. I know it well because I swap it every time I switch from yoke to joystick controls following which plane I'm flying. ( if we are talking about the same file...) Edit : Appdata is a hidden folder, so you have to enable access in Windows first if not done already.
  4. Away from the cockpit for a few days, flights will resume on Wednesday !
  5. Not my stuff, but if someone is interested... FS2crew for the PMDG 777 updated to 1.7 ( bug with P3D V3 corrected ) http://www.fs2crew.com/cart/categories/Special-PMDG-777-Area/
  6. Is it allowed now to have nobody in the cockpit ? Great sunset !
  7. Murray Field (KEKA) available by Orbx https://www.fullterrain.com/product/keka
  8. Nice set of pics. Next time you should try it for what it's made : flying at treetop level with terrain following radar ! The "office" reminds me of all the years I spent flying Falcon 4.0.
  9. New South Wales - Day 12 The great weather holds on, so I keep going towards the north of New South Wales. From Coonabarabran YCBB I fly to Narrabri YNBR, about one hour all included. Further to the beer and pool evening, I had confirmation this morning that I was in Australia : I had a herd of kangaroos in my head and they were doing a lot of jumping around ! Consequently the departure was postponed to 15:00 local to be fit for flying. The forecast is the same as yesterday, 30° C on the ground, and still some wind which turned to the southeast at 17 knots. I choose to take
  10. For the "tifosi" : Mega Airport Rome Fumicino available as download from Aerosoft and retailers. http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd480!0,7210367680,12801_1
  11. New South Wales - Day 11 The good weather is now well established with temperatures above 30° C during the day and I will continue the flights heading Northeast. Today's leg will take us to Coonabarabran YCBB. I leave Dubbo in almost ideal conditions : a clear sky, top notch visibilitty and 35° C at 14:30 local. Only problem, some wind blowing at 14 knots from the Northwest will make me choose the secondary 29 runway. I will have to wait a few minutes for the landing of a commercial airline before I can take off. At first I fly over a large forest. My destinati
  12. No problem Brett, understood the joke ! But also always willing to learn the proper technical words.
  13. And if you fly it solo, you might load some urgent deliveries in the back seat ...
  14. I think I have all the ones I need but will have a look anyway ! Thks for info. Edit : I could use the C 207 but it's not in the list... bad luck !
  15. Great set of pics ! How about trying the Tourist Trophy next time ?

    ANTIVIRUS

I've been using for years the free version of Avira, never had a problem with any software and detected quite a few nasty files.
  17. Haha ! As you know english is not my native language ( although I have a US High School diploma, a University Master and a British Chamber of Commerce ) and besides this you are right I spent a lot more time at the helm of sailboats than behind an airplane yoke... This is probably why I used "backwind" ... Am I right if I use "downwind" instead ? In french we only have one expression for both "vent arrière" which is literally translated by "backwind". @ Wain : " wish I had the time to go fly an adventure like this but at the moment just to busy, I am envious of you... " I unde
  18. New South Wales - Day 10 After these few days with many events in the Rugby World Cup ( great team, Australia ! ) it's time to get on the road again... Today we start towards the North East quarter by a one hour flight between my regional base in Condobolin YCDO and Dubbo YSDU. In this part of the country there are many people and many airfields. As the weather seems to settle for high pressures, I decide to get back to good ol'times navigation after my lazy North West round with GPS and autopilot. I will fly with a trusty companion, the Waco YMF5 with which I flew many hours
  19. Fly on the french riviera... Cannes Mandelieu LFMD to be released soon. ( Price and where to get it also...)
  20. I should get there in 3 or 4 months... Great pics !

  22. Thks for your msg Brian, glad you enjoy my little flights. For the ATWC i would reply because there's only so much I can do... I already have 2 Air Hauler companies to run besides my discovery trips... Each leg takes me 4 to 5 hours between actually flying it, work on the screenshots ( sort out, select, crop, resize and post on OzX ) google the documentation on the place, post on my french forum and translate/post here. I also spend some time flying war missions on WW1 planes in Rise of Flight and soaring around with Condor ! ... and playing some Blood Bowl when on the ground.
  23. This a populated area ( outside of the back o'Bourke ) so the airfields are not far from each other. I will probably need the fast planes in Western Australia ! Edit : Because of Rugby World Cup, next flight on Monday !
  24. New South Wales - Day 9 Back to my regional base in Condobolin YCDO with waypoints in Walgett YWLG, Warren YWRN and Tottenham YTOT. Expected flight time one and a half hour. We still have nice weather leaving Lightning Ridge. High pressures are stable, 24°C on the ground, wind 10 knots from the west and some scattered clouds above 10.000ft. Then it's flat lands again as far as the eye can see. Fifteen minutes later I fly over Walgett, its airfield and VOR. Just when I start thinking this is going to be a rather cool flight, the weather changes, and not
