Thanks Andrew for the review, I was thinking about adding this airplane to my Cessna collection ( and AH fleet ). Looks like you convinced me.

That's strange, it only says P3D on the guy's website... Why would someone publish an addon today for P3D V1 ?

I use a Thrustmaster joystick, a Saitek yoke ( following if the plane has a joystick or a yoke), a Saitek quadrant, a Cessna trim wheel, Saitek rudder pedals and don't use FSUIPC either. Everything (axes and buttons) is set in FSX and has always been perfectly working for what I need.

I don't want to shorten too much the loading time, otherwise it would be too short to go get the drinks and peanuts/chips/cookies I need for the flight duration.

I'm in GA props/turboprops only for now ( may go into helos at some point...) and I choose to have a few planes I use often and where I feel "at home" rather than having many I would use one hour once in a while. I had downloaded many freeware in the past years but have seriously cleaned up files to keep only the very good ones. I would say I use around 25 airplanes, a few ultralights and a couple of boats (Deltasim). The payware come mostly from Alabeo and Carenado (mostly Cessnas + Waco and D17), and a couple vintage planes from Golden Age Sims. Also use my Aerosoft Twin Otter, Realair L

I chose not to have any text appearing on the screen ( I know what I do with my brakes, no need to read it...), so this problem never happened to me... Can't remember at the moment exactly where this option is, it's somewhere in the FSX settings.

Victoria - Jan 05 - A short tour around Mt Hotham So in the club bar yesterday I met an amateur builder who offered me to use his Corby Starlet for a few hours and have a tour around. You did catch a few nice ones. Hope the $ amount was good for flying in this weather ! Reminds me of some tropical rainstorms I had with the Waco along the coast of Brasil.

Good shots and a nice plane ! If you are using FTX Wales, the Orbx landscapes go into "hard winter" in January and February (in the northern hemisphere) and there is no link between weather and ground textures.

Victoria - Jan. 04 - Back to work ! From Yarram YYRM to Mt Hotham YHOT The end of year celebrations are over and the mind is clear again, I go back to Yarram ! I left the C 185F after returning from Tasmania and I pick up the C 172 RG I had left there. I'm going to leave the coast to go see the mountains ! A nice set to start the year !

I use Steam every day for other games (with auto updates) and never had any interaction with my FSX so far ( I also have FSX Steam downloaded but not in use ) They are not on the same HD.

I would be surprised if it was not visible in FTX Australia, will only know when I get there, which is probably in 3 or 4 months...

The sea is still free from ice ! Today's METAR says 5° C A little further up the coast around my other base in Yakutat, everything but the sea is also frozen.
