Oh, Yes - and when the african students got off the bus - at Muswell Hill Hight Street - it brought back that awful non-P.C. joke about the Pygmies in the tall, pampas grass. What was the punch line? "We're the ****-are-we, we're the ***-are-we"....... Apologies if this is offensive, but I can just see one of the students asking the ot
  15. I've got to come clean, John, I sold the rights to Trac-Sim X to Flight Sim earlier this month, but we're having problems converting to U.S. gallons....... :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai.

  17. Hi Andrew Just to add to Kieran's helpful comments: Porting FS2004 models to FSX is often problematic, never simple but sometimes very rewarding. I generally do the following: 1. Go to C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator XSimObjectsAirplanes and create a NEW file; 2. Give it a short but understandable name - i.e. Short Sunderland; 3. Open the file and copy the new model's files into it; 4. Open each file component of the new file in turn - ie Model, Texture, Panel, Sound, Aircraft.cfg - and see if it looks O.K. - Yes, I know this needs a bit of experience, but you ca

  20. You'll remember me mentioning Trac-Sim X last year, when I was Beta testing Agri-Sim's new product - well, they've just announced a Big Bale handling add-on and here are some screen shots. The first is the basic Tractor/Trailer set up: Trac-Sim X enables you to select the number and type (straw/hay/silage/wrap-colour) of the bales together with the area in which they are to be placed - by field number or name. Once the distrubution has been determined, the bales can be collected: The tractor loader characterisics are very realistic, but placing the bales is relatively straightf

  24. Good work, Boss - some interesting routes for 'boats too! It'll be interesting to see how the selection process goes - I'll be happy to do a couple, please - eastern Russia, western Pacific, Alaska to L.A., south Atlantic - (Hey, that's 4! - Ed). :eyebrow: Well, no-one expects the Spanish Inquisition.... Cheers - Dai.
