I think you're right, Steve. I've been trying to get my FSX working with a FS2004 version of Capt Sim's 727 and I can only get external views. The model seems to work O.K., but, without a cockpit view, it's not really flyable. I therefore currently make do with the Vistaliners B727 (available from AVSIM), which is an inferior model, but has at least a 2-D cockpit. Hope that helps, Kieran - until Capt Sim issue a complete FSX B727, I'm not really interested. Mind you, if they did then I'd more than likely buy.... Cheers - Dai.

Picked this up over at HJG - 15 minutes of sheer nostalgia: This is first part - parts 2 and 3 are here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=x9pN591cF1Y&feature=related, and here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=u3QE5jozhEs&feature=related Enjoy. Cheers - Dai.

Nice one, Steve! And I thought my screen needed cleaning - but it was your birds! BTW, hope the Tornado pilots are issued with water-proof trousers - in my experience, getting into a tractor with a wet seat isn't very pleasant..... Cheers - Dai. p.s. As it's now autumn, I guess you won't be mowing that grass?!?

Well, there's always a first time, Boss! Cheers Dai.

This might not be so easy, unless of course, you've been paying attention: Alas, a dream's made of this, knowing the Boss...... :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai. :???:

Thanks for the screenshots and the review, Wayne - looks really good, especially on your system. :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai. :???:

How's about Malaga (LEMG): Cheers - Dai. :mrhappy:

Hey, Wayne - I'm just reading the latest edition of Gosport and the Gunk penny has just dropped - so Happy Birthday, or, as we say in Wales: Pen-blwydd Hapus :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai. :eyebrow:

Well, not quite Grand Theft Auto, but take a look: here Loved the way the insurgent carried on throwing stones after being knocked down! And I wouldn't fancy that reporter's chances with me on the turret...... :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai. :eyebrow:

I can see a military application here, but it's hardly likely to be a success at Air Shows - unless, of course, like this year's RIAT, it gets rained off..... :eyebrow: On the other hand, doesn't Combat Flight Sim have a multi-player function? Who's up for a virtual Dog-Fight? :mrhappy: Thanks for the HU UM! Cheers - Dai.

Yes, of course! What made me think it was difficult? Was it the 727 that gave it away - or is there a more sinister reason that whenever I post a GTA, the Boss gets it straightaway? (Checks for hidden cameras - runs MacAfee scan (complete) - runs AdAware ect ect ) Right, next time No More Mr Nice Guy - the clues will be impenetratable (Have you spelled that right - Ed?). :eyebrow: Well done, Joe! Over to you - AGAIN. Cheers - Dai.

Finished October: Light Military Jets
ddavid replied to mutley's topic in Screenshot Contests Archive
This has to be the light jet - the Folland Gnat, here in Red Arrows livery: Designed by a hero of mine, W.E.W. "Teddy" Petter, who used to be at Westland and English Electric - quite a pedigree, eh? Cheers - Dai. :eyebrow: -
Thanks for the reminder, Boss - I was just snoozing....... :eyebrow: O.K. - More clues to follow, but this is just a teaser: Cheers - Dai.
-
Thanks for the HU, Joe - looks good! Will try to join/download time & weather permitting.... :eyebrow: Cheers - Dai.

Ace job, Kieran! Loved the colourful Short 360 - and the HU on reaching their century. :mrhappy: Thought you'd like this video: Not as sophisticated as your recent experience?!? Cheers - Dai.

Great shots, Boss! Will she fly in FSX? Hope so, 'cause my default Dizzie's in need of replacement...... :mrhappy: BTW - will the new ATWC be up-coming soon? Hope so. Cheers Dai.

The Dreamliner was a great choice, Luke - and your dusk take-off excellently presented - Well Done!! Cheers - Dai. :mrhappy:

Excellent screen-shots, Wayne - and welcome back! I like Number 7 as I'm trying to get the latest Guess The Airport together - looks handy... :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai.

I must admit I was off-target until you said "It's at sea level". Nice one, Rosario! :mrhappy: I'll fire up FSX and put the next GTA by tomorrow night, if that's O.K.? Cheers - Dai.

How's about: Cheers - Dai. :mrhappy:

Well, the long winter nights are approaching (And the need for appropriate under-wear, too? - Ed) so a return to the ATWC, or near equivalent, is an excellent idea, Boss! :mrhappy: Steve's variation sound's good to me - we do need a structural 'back-bone' to the tour but having a bit of flexibility at various stages would suit those of us who don't spend all their time in 'tubes'. No offence, I like the heavies, but my airline flying is somewhat rudimentary.... And we can bring out some of the more interesting 'local' detail of the area, and possibly a bit of story-telling ....... As to w

Just time for another couple from me...... The first is a Boeing Clipper, heading for Honolulu, after a dawn start from Roratonga: And, lastly, the Space Shuttle over Florida: I hope you'll allow this, Dear Judges, as Boeing's Space Exploration Division has been mainly responsible for the design, manufacture and support of the Space Shuttle fleet since the first flight in 1981. (See here for an more complete explanation!) :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai.

Terrific shots, Simon - looks like you had a brilliant time - thanks for sharing! BTW, what's the French for "Tally-Ho"?!? :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai. -
Well, Royal Khmer Airlines have still got one at Hanoi's Noi Bai airport: (Photo from JetPhotos.net) But this B727-200 has been on the tarmac for over a year as no-one wants to claim her! Please send your offers to....... Cheers - Dai.

You cynical b*gg*rs - how else is she to show off her diamond ring?!? :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai.
