Leg 10: Blantyre (FWCL) to Riyadh (OERK) - Part 1 of 3
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in PIREPS
Heheh . Unfortunately the next part won't feature the Pedestal (SimCheck A300), as the retro A300 doesn't really have a part for advanced EICAS systems. -
Wrong wrong wrong Eddie! Haven't you seen how many fantastic, detailed and colourful liveries there are out there? There are thousands of repaints for both payware/freeware/default Aircraft.

Hello everyone, Made these a few months back, in the CS 757 with REX2. The Hobart approach is done with FTX. Hobart approach: rbz8LmkWjSw Male approach: _K8Xr2Y1NiQ Thanks for viewing, I'd love to make more but unfortunately all my video editing trials have ended, and they are extremely expensive!

"Show off your colours!" A month which consists of displaying some of the pretties liveries around (hands off my favourite, Wunala Dreaming!).

Leg 10: Blantyre (FWCL) to Riyadh (OERK) - Part 1 of 3

Would that be "loosing" the baton, or the fact that flights are split into 3? -

Boeing 767 Pedestal Project
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in Cockpit Building
Right Lads, I've finally amnaged to get the CS757 EICAS Display working with the Pedestal. Look at the ATWC III, Leg10 Part 1 near the start for latest photos. Also, regarding the CDU refund, Opencockpits have said that "they are waiting for a response from the sales department, to make sure the CDU has arrived well and the refund delivered". I take it this means the refund is imminent. -
Jack's guide to the BufferPools Tweak
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in Hardware
Hi Stu, That .dll isn't Windows 7 specific, but it is mostly used in Windows 7 to prevent crashes. You can use it if you like, I'm not sure regarding sucesses (or if it is even necessary for that matter) with other OS. That .dll isn't REQUIRED for the BufferPools Tweak, it is just used as good measure to prevent crashes. And I use the registry command before every flight, I'm not sure if just entering it once makes it permanent, but try it anyway. The SHIFT part I think is required for Windows 7 only, it is purely done to bring up the correct menu, nothing else (as just right clicking the -
We begin the next leg of the ATWC journey at Blantyre, where two young pilots, Alain and Nick, will be taking us to Jomo Kenyatta Intl (HKJK). From there some other pilots wil lFly us to Harare, then finally to Riyadh for part 3. Chatper 1 - Before the Flight Alain is an accomplished Captain, whilst Nick is a lesser experienced First Officer. Here we can see them preppnig the Aircraft for the flight. Our route for today: Our Aircraft: The next part of the pre-flight checks require Alain and Nick to ensure the Secondary EICAS Panel is alive and functional: Right engine starting:

Hey Rob, Fraps is a video recorder, not a video editor.

God bless him.

Hi Joe, Unfortunately, (unless it has changed), Windows Movie Maker doesn't have the precision time controls I need. i need to be able to trim a clip and place it with precision on the time line.

As per the title. Are there any good free video editors I could have a crack at using? I don't mind if they're trial versio neither, so long as they are not: - Sony vegas - Loilo Touch Jack

Boeing 767 Pedestal Project
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in Cockpit Building
Thanks Rob & Along, no I don't have a degree in woodworking it is just a hobby that I enjoy  . I know I've said this a dozen times already, but the CDU refund will be today or tomorrow. Not sure about today, as it is a Bank Holiday (but maybe not in Spain) so it's a 50/50 chance. But yes hopefully definitely by tomorrow. Also guys - You'll notice that the CDU is slightly offset to the left. This is for two reasons: 1.) The Monitor is slightly bigger than a real 747 CDU, being 15" instead of about 10". 2.) The First Officer's VRI CDU II Panel must fit in the top right corner. I' -

CSoul - I would think Helicopter shots like that would be allowed, as logn as they don't have any of the Helicopter actually in it. What I mean is, is if you're using an Aircraft purely for a viewpoint (ie a shot from the air), that'd be fine - Just no aircraft IN the shot. Ask Joe of course to confirm though. -
Fully agree! It may be very overwhelming at first but in time you'll learn to love the accusim features.

Boeing 767 Pedestal Project
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in Cockpit Building
Saturday 4th March A little Easter Surprise for you all! The Pedestal has been under the knife Saw today as the Secondary EICAS Panel has sucessfully been installed! I'm using a 15", LCD Monitor with a relatively high definition for the Secondary EICAS. To get the EICAS displayed on it in FSX, it is a simple case of dragging the monitor over manually with my mouse (or, in some cases, repositioning the EICAS in the .cfg file). Of course, some pictures! A look at the underside of the Secondary EICAS, as you can see the monitor slides in and out: With the Secondary EICAS in: Boeing Log -
