  1. Very nice Rob! I like it - You win . Take it away!
  2. Right then! A300, Full Throttle at YSCH! Thanks for the heads up Hurricane. The reason they got "deleted" was because I moved the shots into a separate album. All fixed now!
  3. Quite surprised that the TQ is winning, wasn't expecting that! Keep the votes comin' guys!
  4. Thanks Rob and Hurricane! It really deserved its score, especially because they had to design all their intruments and systems themselves, with nothing to start or work from. Jack
  5. OMG!!! Don't rub it in! Very nice shots there  !
  6. Agreed. But shorter tutorials are better, as I can't stand waiting around forever for the next step of a flight.
  7. As far as I am aware all Orbx products (apart from Aus Traffic/BOB) are designed to work in tandem with the FTX Regions. As Rob said, you'll be left with an ugly boundary. Also, you won't get the full functions of the Airport. But yes, it is worth installing, a vast improvement over the default.
  8. Heya guys, To help the poll along a bit I've added some pictures. I've only added pictures of the functioning Modules. Just to confirm, where I can dummy units will be constructed using parts from Opencockpits (following their excellent low prices and great service they did for my Transponder). Cheers, Jack
  9. Thanks very much guys for your compliments. Very advanced stuff, you can't even operate the hydraulics unless ALL systems relating to the control surfaces are set up correctly.
  10. No probs. I too, thought it looked very unusual to see a Bus with no sidesticks. I even got my Saitek ST290 Pro Joystick out and put it to my left (to act as a sidestick)... And then realised the cockpit had yokes! Weird! Also, take a look at that Old-Airbus CDU INS below the MIP. Bet you've never seen that before!
  11. Heheh, seems like you and Brian are on the same wavelength! Both of ya's want the Audio Panel! The GF Panel looks a beauty too, especially with the volume controls and all! Thanks for your vote Joe. Jack
  12. Review in progress! Some random shots really as I was following the tutorial flight. A VERY COMPLEX bird if I must say so myself, really gets your brain in a knot figuring out the systems, but all worth it in the end. The SimCheck A300 simulates the really old A300. Say goodbye to advanced FBW logic and modern sidesticks, and hello to steam analogue gauges and old-fashioned yokes! See the review when it's prublished for more info . Enjoy! Jack
  13. Heya everyone, This post is relating to my Pedestal project. Simply, please cast your vote at what you next want installed on the Pedestal after the CDU (which is being ordered soon!). I know Brian (Needles) has already cast his vote in the main project thread, I'd like you to re-cast it here! Whichever one wins I will install next - Promised! One vote per person, if you change you mind that's no problem. Jack  GALLERY: Don't know what your choice looks like? Take a peek... Secondary EICAS: Throttle Unit: (I already have the unit, it will just be attatched to the Pedesta
  14. Hey SEATAC, Unfortunately no pictures until the CDU arrives - Only just over a week though... So stay tuned and you guys won't be disappointed! Jack
  15. Tuesday 2nd March Okay, some pretty nice news here! I am 85% sure that the CDU will be ordered on Friday 12th March. That's a week this Friday! As I said, 85% sure. It will rpobably happen but no guarentees! All updates will of course be kept here! Regards, Jack
  16. Sunday 28th February Unfortunately, yet again the Ebay item I had posted up has not sold... So up it goes for another week. Only an advancement of
  17. When reviewing the Discus Glider X, I trained myself at Katoomba Airstrip. An AWESOME little strip of which you have to nip over the power lines on approach... Very difficult in a glider due to the huge inertia in its wing and the fact that you need to apply full spoiler just after you get over the lines. Will download the 3.1
  18. Thanks very much for your vote Brian! Unfortunately I'll have to ask you to vote again here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4097 That way I can keep it documented in a seperate topic, rather than "clog-up" this topic with votes. Cheers, Jack
  19. Okay, lets hope I've gotten this right: - You enter your Bid - You plan your Flight using RoutePlanner (I use this anyway and it's a great piece of software) - You do the flight - You then post the screenshots Is this correct? Or are there some other things I must know? Also, what is PIREPS Software (never used it before). Jack
