  1. Money is a relative thing. Depending on where you live on planet earth, the value of the money is different. I still find it to be expensive. I can live without it. There are many very good aircraft out there for half the price and I dont need to have them all.
  2. 70,-$. What a price inflation. Noone cares about that?
  3. Jaydor Thanks for your screenshot. It explains more than words. BUT.... I think this tweakfs config editor works with Prepar3d. I installed it and it doesnt work on my machine. It automatiaclly looks for your FSX scenery.cfg (which I dont have) and I cant see that it has a posibility where you can point it towards the P3d scenery.cfg file. ¿You are using fsx? no? Anyways, both of my scenery.cfg files (the one in the root dir and the one in the users/x/x/x/ prepard3dv2 dir) only have the 125 default scenery entries. For now, I give up and live with the program as it is. It funcions wi
  4. Jaydor: Thanks for the link. I have downloaded and I will read and maybe install later, when my head is ready for that. I need to be in the right mood for these things. (and besides, English is my 3rd language so I get a bit more tired in the old bubble ) I have had a first look at the readme file and it looks like its what I want, but I´m not sure about a couple of things: First, my prepar3d.cfg only has the default 125 entries. What I have installed after is not there. We talk about orbx-global/vector/LC, an Orbx region and a Danish FSX scenery package and 3 -4 Danish fsx airports above
  5. Thanks for your answers. I tried the scenery config editor, but no way... I have some ORBX things installed (global/vector/LC and a region) It looks like ORBX "steels" your scenery.cfg and makes it useless. Maybe because they activate and deactivate parts of the scenery config depending on which part you choose in the FTX central. In the cfg, there´s only the scenery that was installed before ORBX and the scenery config editor opened with the 125 original scenery entries, all with errors..... P3D works very well. ORBX is very pretty... BUT there are aspects about the programs that I do
  6. One of the few things I dont like in P3Dv2 is the inside menus. In FS9 I used a scenery config editor, that is also for use in FSX. Does anyone use that editor or something else? Will there be any "danger" in trying to use that editor. Thanks in advance
  7. Just a year ago, I bought a fully funcional used joystick with z axis and usb stick, for 8 euros here in Spain..... I used it for making pedals, but it was totally funcional as a joystick and you would have a ton more fun with that one than with the setup you mention. Look in Ebay.es and milanuncios.com Enjoy
  8. I´m originally from Denmark. I´ve been in Spain (Inland Andalucia) for 13 years now.
  9. For now, I´m perfectly happy with being able to start with the default start screen. I found it to be a waste of time to load a flight since I often want to do something else. The default start screen takes very little time to load and if I feel like flying the saved default flight, its just a matter of clicking on "ok" (or is it called fly now) P3D is so new for me that I dont want to much software now. I have an orbx demo and 2 addon aircraft installed by now and next step is to find out how to keep P3D on the SSD and orbx, other big scenery files and addon aircraft on the HDD. I´m stu
  10. Thanks for the fast and very kind answers. So,.... it was an easy thing and I had looked but sometimes I dont see or maybe I expected it to be called something else. Anyways thanks. I think I prefer things this way. Also thanks for the follow up on simlauncher. I will stay with stock for now. I really try not to install unnescessary things. I think what caught me in the zip preview was this nice map it has. So I´m on to explore some more. I have to setup the PC, putting some folders etc on mec. drive so that I can keep the ssd as clean as possible. Also delete some of the airplane
  11. Hi from Spain I´m new here and new to P3D as well. Comming from FS9. So my first question: (and there will be more ) I would like to get to a start screen when I start P3D. I´m not a big fan of loading default flight and from there make another flight. I have looked around in P3D but havent found a solution to that Also, and parallel to my first question: On flightsim library I´ve seen a simlauncher ( simlauncherxv10.zip ) Has anyone tried that one out, is it recommendable, is there something similar and better. I dont like installing and uninstalling a lot of programs
