cheers guys.....thanks for the landing tip Matt, first one as shown below went well...did a circuit and all ended in tears...felt really good though I have a massive smile flying this but it seems I need track-ir more for this than most planes.....lovin it....... over innsbruck keep an eye on where we came from.... cant see any lost punters on the hill/mountain.... around and down...its working out what controls make the helo do what.... snails pace, gently does it.....

Is anyone else getting the bouncy screen when you click to go to top of the page?......thought I had drank to much DOOMBAR at the weekend.....

So I decided to pick up this Bell 407 from Dreamfoil for XP...not really had any success with Helis previously, however this went well apart from the landing...I guess there must be a technique for that...anyway just a few shots from my first couple of flights.... the 407.... other side... looking out... evening approaching... following the MM4 into Wales just coming to Cardiff.... chasing that sun... ok lets go find a place to land... parked at St Athen

cheers guys, ATC in XP11 is better than 10 but still has a few issues....however I have found them all to have issues whichever sim you use...as good as FSX is, even with its faults it always annoys when they turn you left, then right, then left, then right.........I dont get on with speech recognition ones so I like them to have an option to press a button or click on something....

nice shots Chris.....once 11 comes out of BETA I think it will be really good,I use XP10 mostly but once all my addons work I will move over completely....

I came across this Freeware / donationware program over the weekend. Like most sims the ATC in Xplane is not very good and usually we look for some kind of addon or if you have time you may fly online. This has been in developement for a few years and it is still ongoing with a published roadmap. The current developer is active on Xplane Forum and is open to suggestions and working on bugs that are reported. It is a very small download and is then put into your Plugin folder, easy to use and setup with a nicely written 30 odd page manual. The program is easily accessed via the top

just a couple of shots landing on the water, it was very straight forward but once I had landed the aircraft was bobbing up and down a lot, it was actually easier than I thought to land and the takeoff was quite smooth to, those 2 arms act like hydrofoils and lift you out of the water....

thanks Loic, seems that is the best time for me to get a window of opportunity as they say.... thanks Joe, we owe that to Jess, I was really struggling to get my head around XP about 15 months ago and she helped with a very useful post pointing me in the right direction with explanations of how it worked and must have addons...now I really enjoy XP and have some great addons and even have BETA version of XP11.........

I have been reading up on weather reports and have downloaded a really good PDF that explains most things, however I can't find an explanation for the following, any help would be useful please... FEW120 BKN300..... does the 120 mean 1200ft or 12000ft does the 300 mean 3000ft or 30000ft understand the rest of the reports.... thanks, don't laugh to much at my dumb question.... Wayne

Early start on a Sunday with some freight heading from Innsbruck to Zurich... going through the checks prior to first start of the day. looking back as the sun climbs out of bed.... climbing through the mist to 12000ft... following the valley out.... just before we hit some cloud that stayed with me until I start the descent into Zurich.... offloaded, time to get some breakfast and fresh coffee.... thanks for using FEDEX,,,,

didnt bother last year as previously it was very poor, will give it a miss this year too.....
