So all was going well, landed, bounce and like a novice pushed down heavily and the prop dug in and I was catapulted down the runway....hope my cat will give me one of her 9 lives.... all XP11 default scenery and Cessna, the caption at the top made me laugh...'tire blown'..I think thats the least of my worries....

sorry Brett I didnt even see your post, this gets worse I deleted the trim drivers now nothing is recognised by FSX, my only choice is MOUSE...driving me bonkers I had so many P3D issues now this...I expect problems in XP11 as thats still Beta but not FSX...I realy cant be bothered with uninstalling etc but with FSX not seeing any controllers I simply cant fly it....AAAARRRGGGHHH....

thanks for the well wrote out advice there Quick....I did find that of all my Saitek stuff there were drivers on that trimwheel, I have removed them, hopefully will get to test it at the weekend but I am a little busy doing the company accounts, only 2 weeks to get them in..........also I have to say AS16 with my REX4 HD Textures was worth the upgrade, it looks great....

Yeah I had that issue, I cheated slightly and planned IFR, got airborne and cancelled it..unreralistic I know but when you use real weather you have to go with what you have.....

just out of curiosity has anyone here used Aerofly FS? only seems to be small, not worldwide a bit like DCS....

I was under the impression that the Flightplanning bit was a subscription thing to a group of some kind?...I still have it but not loaded as I changed to REX4 TD....I have tried to open the manual but cant for some weird reason...I found this by rstough who I think is a REX person, its from a while ago but may be an option for you though I am not sure how it works... REX Flight Planner: - The REX Flight planner was never meant to replace or be a detailed flight planner like that in FSX or FSBuild, etc. It was mainly meant to bring the user a visual view of the weather tied to

yeah it seems every sim we get it is expected that we have to accept we will be upgrading textures, weather, airports and planes, cant think of a recent sim where I have not had to do that.....I like your metaphor it works well.....trouble with XP is there is a lot of free stuff however as good as some is there is also some very poor free and payware out there......

cheers Sam, is she functioning correctly in XP11? I am only using my Carenados at the moment as I dont think the IXEG, PMDG DC6 or Jars Buses work properly yet, so I may well buy that one, does it have a good tutorial flight? Have a few £££'s that might go that way.....

I have looked high and low, under the HDD, behind the GPU, cant find any saitek drivers anywhere but still this wheel is an issue....why is nothing easy anymore.....

Marhy this may be a bit of a silly thought, I used to run REX with OD and I thought I had to set the path in the set up or options for REX to fire up P3D, I am sure it needs you to input the .exe somewhere, I now run REX4 and I open that to chose my textures, once installed that launches AS16 and FSX... I may be talking complete buzzcocks though...best of luck with it though as it is worth getting sorted....I do feel your pain, had it recently with P3D to the degree where I have uninstalled completely...
