Have a look in the Windows Application Log (Administrative Tools->Event Viewer). That'll give more detail about the crash and maybe we can give better advice.

Agree with the Spinpoints. I've got six 1TB Spinpoints split across two NAS boxes and a homebrew. Good performers, reliable and quiet. Previously had a Seagate drive, and it was rubbish.

Last I heard about a week ago, it was 'very close'. I know that doesn't really mean anything -- P-G took a further 3 weeks from when I first said "it'll be out the end of this week". It's amazing what the prospect of imminent release does to cause hidden & hitherto unknown issues to creep out of the woodwork!

Make sure you don't have a second controller plugged in - that can often cause wierd conflicts like this.

People need to realise that aiming one of these devices is no different to or less dangerous than pointing a gun at somebody. And it should have the same penalty, IMHO.

The last two on your list (Launceston & Port Macquarie) are Orbx Freeware (Sydney is the only one that isn't an FTX airport!) Also free are Redcliffe, Lilydale, Bussleton, Cunderdin, Port Lincoln. Plus a host of others from Anthony Lynch and of course the 300+ OZx strips. I don't know how well they blend with the default landscape, but something is better than nothing, right?
