I've only just gotten around to installing 2.3, but yes they're working just fine. Curiously the ones I made using your hint on how to get around the bglc lights issue in p3d also work in P3D v2.2. Personally I do think the BGLC type lights we provide for the FSX version of the scenery are nicer though. Hi Ray With that, and guys not playing by the rules and simply taking the google earth images for free..it's certainly a big handicap for us. My heart is in the UK, and it's always been my ambition to make the UK the best scenery in the world. But we're up against it from the start, and

Geez Kevin is that all???? you make it sound like there is a lot of work involved , no doubt all that would keep one busy in the morning what does one do in the afternoon, rake in the money ? I must admit I would like to look over someones shoulder one day to see how it is done, it must be brain numbingly boring.

A2A Cherokee over ES Autogenesis with Opus weather
britfrog replied to Kevin Firth's topic in Videos
Not criticising ES or A2a but having seen that makes me realise just how good aerofly FS is. -
Darren, I hope I am not out of order here but putting aside this discussion per se , just to give us hoi paloi (or however you spell it) some idea, is it possible, say using your first 60 cm scotland scenery as an example, , to give us cretins an idea of the amount of hours it takes or a breakdown (not finacial) of just what it takes to get the raw info that you buy, into something that you can consider selling. I do hope that I am not prying, but personally I have no idea how long these processes take , or the amount of work involved. I dare say if I and others here at Mutleys, had some in

Loic, whislt I also use a lot of free photoscenery, where ES Guernsey is different is that he has added a lot of replicas of the real buildings in Peter Port and elsewhere which have to be individualy created and I suppose this doesnt take 5 minutes. Now I am trying to word this delcately so as not to start a bun fight ,(which inevitably happens) But I do wonder if sales of Guernsey , or the new 60 or 30 cms Uk , would be affected if Darren didnt bother doing the autogen houses etc and just sold the stuff "flat" with his colouring, no doubt it would make his life easier. Personally the onl

Thanks for that Darren , even the 60cms are impressive I must admit I will be buying into the 30 cms stuff in wales when it comes uo plus the south of the UK

Avery impressive plane Al, however in reality it was a terribly unreliable plane that became the original widowmaker , i read a story once that some US general wanted to base them in the uk so sent 10 over to see how practical it was . only one or two actually arrived in the uk and were immediately recalled one or two of these vrash reports will make your hair stand on end http://www.air-and-space.com/b-36%20wrecks.htm

A pity everything is so dark it would be interesting to see what it looks like at midday in the summer, from what i can make out in the first picture it does seem to have better definition than the stock horizon stuff

Thanks for that John, I always wondered what had happened

My father was a battle of Britain pilot who after the war was lucky enough to be seconded into BOAC and many years later he was still a pilot as I grew up. I always wanted to fly aeroplanes having had my first flight when I was only a couple of months old, so it was no surprise that I wanted to follow in my fathers footsteps. The first time I touched the controls of a DH Dove I was hooked, the next plane that I "flew" was a Grumman Goose, followed quickly by a DC3 and a DH Heron all before the tender age of 14. I undertook my training in Florida at Opa Locka airport (near Miami) and 3 da

Dai, just call me old fashioned PC doesnt exist in my house and never will Looking again at these pics i find it interesting to note we are just disembarking and yet the engineer is already on the wing with his long guage to dip the oil tanks, the a/c unit is getting hooked up and the baggage cars are in place. I suppose the two white capped guys are the pilots supervising the loading and saying goodbye to the customers very sociable, not like today where they are standing in the aisles before the a/c has come to a stop here are a few pics of the downstairs "lounge/bar" i recall on o

yeah it was a strat, that wa seasy but it never ceases to amaze me how the human brain works, i can remember all those flights as if they were only a year or two ago. yes it was noisy but nothing like flying in a york or lancastrian. however on this flight i well recall at some point between shannon and goose bay we were next to be served dinner when we hit an air pocket and the dinner cart went up and hit the ceiling did a 180 and deposited all its hot contents over my mother and near bye seats. it took ages to clean up and sadly we all went hungry. to add insult to injury the goose ba

when I first came to the Uk i worked at a yamaha garage and the head mechanic there was a retired sumo wrestler in the uk for 3 years to get to know how the uk market worked. firstly he was the most gentle man you ever met, but also the fastest man you ever came across in your life!! one of his party pieces when you were goofing off in the workshop was he would sneak up behind you , grab both your ankles and he would stand up, you flipped upside down, instantly! he would then hold both your wriggling ankles with one hand and reach up and hook your trouser legs over a bent nail in the low roof

Bomb Hoax on Qatar flight gets fighter escort
britfrog replied to hifly's topic in Real World Aviation
the least they can do is saddle him with the fuel bill for the escort ! sadly as our legal system has totally fallen apart he will no doubt be next in line for a knighthood.
