  4. Another rush courier bag had to Get There Now...I was getting checked out in the new Bell 47g...it would have to do. Chop chop... these little locked bags are always vital to someone if they will pay the rate to haul the 5 or so pounds by air. Fortunately, someone at the panel shop put a clock Top, Front, and Center...so I could be keenly aware as to how late it was getting. I'd have put a VSI there...but call me crazy, the VSI obviously belongs below the panel, and behind the fans ( )...and TIME is Wasting! Zoom zooooooom 10 feet from Destination... on time, every t

  7. On my flight today from Guernsey island to Belle Ile (LFEA) - a nice island on the southern coast of Brittany -, I came to fly over Brehat island on the northern coast. It was one of my favourite sailing destinations in the 70s and 80s when I lived around there. I used to anchor in the middle bay which is right under the plane. FSX can be a time machine sometimes ! and how it is really :

  9. Howdy Boys (and Girls), My new, New Zealand, air hauler is getting going. QuikAire is doing fine up in Canada, so time to set up a winter (summer in NZ) business so all those valuable Canadian pilots won't have to suffer the BC winter. Started by selling the C-172, then immediately went into debt to get a C-182 and did the due diligence thing until I got far enough down the road to hire out an AI pilot. Soon as that happened, I leased a DC-3 to boost the kitty and gave it to the AI pilot to go out and make some money while I slogged around with a 3100# MTOW. Then I sold the C-182 and l

  10. Thanks boss! It's reallyt to bad I didn't get my first recording to work... Let's just say my attempt at passing under Tower Bridge was spectacular to say the least... I think I might have hit HMS Belfast in my attemtps to regain altitude after touching the water

  12. Yo Matt, had a few 'upsets' when I first got this beast but now under control and enjoying it albeit still a bit frisky on landing. 120kts seems to be optimum landing speed for me to keep her stable, don't cut the power until on the deck and then pull the throttles right back for reverse props and when stopped, throttles centred to idle. Think about it, it takes two to fly this ac RW so we should give ourselves a pat on the back for flying them solo.

  30. Need a high engine temp problem fixed? It's as easy as reading a book and dumping tons of toxic fuel into the atmosphere. The crew were very relaxed and professional, always great to see. Nice video, thanks for the look Nigel.
