    Beautiful shots!

Awesome! The Bell 222 looks like a Jet Ranger with stubby wings!
  3. If anyone has an interest in an absolutely fascinating documentary presented by Boeing and The Discovery Channel, I highly recommend watching "The Age of Aerospace". Five episodes, about 42 minutes each. Takes you from The Wright Brothers through the Dreamliner. Just hook up your laptop to your big screen TV and enjoy in 1080p (or whatever your TV can muster)! http://theageofaerospace.com/

Now paint it in Magnum P.I. Colors and fly it around Hawaii.
  5. Thanks. Hard to keep track of where I get everything from
  6. Good job. The model is nearly as old as the actual plane. Haha
  7. Trying to taxi through this crowded airfield with junk strewn everywhere. Finally made it past the obstacles and the two abandoned runways, got airborne and got out of there. And yes, it really looks like this! Click an image for a hi-res view. The aircraft is the Pilatus PC-9 from Iris. Airfield is Claresholm Industrial located in Alberta, Canada. Don't recall where I got it from.Possibly was included on a past CD from Just Flight. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claresholm_Industrial_Airport
  8. Low flying somewhere in Oregon or Washington or California. I don't recall exactly! Iris A-10 Warthog and Orbx scenery

    Really beautiful shots Dolf
  10. And now a new generation of aerial refueling tankers takes to the sky!
  11. This is rather cool. An unmanned F-16, like a really, really cool drone. The sad part is what it will be used for. This plane has been stored for the past 15 years prior to becoming a giant R/C aerial target. Also, I had no idea that we still used F-4's as chase planes. Thought they were only for target practice. The QF-16 is a replacement for the QF-4. At least the QF-16 is reusable as they don't really always destroy them. Here you can see what happens to QF-16's eventually: http://www.boeing.com/features/2014/08/bds-qf16-08-26-14.page
  12. Flying the evening grind in an MD-88 from Lisbon to Madrid. Climbing to FL250 for the short haul as a spectacular sunset looms. No editing to the shots. That is the default FSX weather and lighting. During the flight I noticed the aircraft was appropriately named 'Sunlight'! Happy flying everyone!
  13. Very nice! I just picked this up recently myself. Have yet to do a proper flight. Just practice.
  14. Best advice I have is to dump FS9 and go to FSX or P3D!
  15. Agree about the music. Sucks. But video is great
  16. From VFA-154, the Black Knight squadron, here is some of the most amazingly awesome footage of FA-18's and F-22's you are ever likely to see. There's some air-combat practice and basic maneuvers, all of which took place on the squadron's most recent maintenance phase, in the US. I think these guys really love their job. Select HD and go full-screen and turn up the volume and enjoy!
  17. Unintentionally, mind you. I wonder if snow tires would have helped. http://www.autoblog.com/2014/12/05/blue-angels-demonstrate-donuts-f-18-hornet-video/

Great shots. I noticed the American Airlines arena in one of them. Last time I was there I saw the Who perform.
  19. I like that paint job! But boy does it look cold there
  20. As you mentioned the night flying, that is another reason I love these. Backlit keys with 2 levels of lighting intensity
  21. Was there in 2014 a week after the show. The air museum is fantastic. They had a B-29 when I was there. Man, I did not realize how impressive it was until I saw it up close. Much bigger than B-17
