  1. When you get to a certain age, it's best to be discrete, eh Bri'?!? Have a good 'n, mate... Cheers - Dai.

    Welcome

I "cut my teeth" on Mission development on the Flight Simulator X Forum - where I came into contact with a great bunch of guys, who were only too pleased to help - including Brett! That site has a large download section for both beta and RC Missions, but there's no reason why we don't use the Mutley's download facilities for any of our own Missions that are specific to the Hangar. The FSXME support forum at the FSAddon site is useful if you want to bend the ear of the developer of FSXME (Jim Keir), or ask a specific FSXME question. However, Jim isn't always availabe on this site, and that can
  5. The HTML thing is the biggie, I'm afraid - or is it just me? (Getting warmer! - Ed) Cheers - Dai.
  6. Be nice if it handled airport elevation changes and flattens, eh? Cheers - Dai.
  7. Sorry, more from me... When I Preview or Edit a Post, I lose the HTML (i.e., no etc), like this: Not sure what happens if your HTML syntax is incorrect. How do I get the HTML back, please? Seems that the Post Editor strips out ALL HTML code (including colons around Smiley identifiers. And it's nearly impossible to format... This is just the start of a rant!! Cheers - Dai. :getting.worried.smiley:
  8. Oh Dear - looks like my Tumbling Ted is for the chop. I get this: Wotcha fink, Boss?!? :th_smiles73: Hwyl - Dai.:I've.lost.my.teddy.gif:
  9. G'Day, Rob - been working hard?!? Cheers - Dai.

    Hi Everyone

Good to have you on board, Gera - make yourself at home! Cheers - Dai.
  11. ... with over 70% of entries using FSX, whose Test Flight time may be reduced by the tail-wind, it'll make for some interesting results, eh?!? As the DH104 hasn't got ground-speed (TAS) indication, I had to 'deduct' the wind-speed mentally during the Test Flight and reduce considerably the throttle setting to get near Kieran's 35 minutes... Maybe Andrew put this FSX/SX9 difference in deliberately? We should be told! Ciao - Dai.
  12. John, I loaded the Test Flight situation files before taking off and climbing to 13500 ft. At the start, there was little/no wind, but above 10000 ft a strong (tail) wind developed, as you can see from this: I checked the weather and it confirmed the high altitude breeze! Maybe it's missing from FS9?!? Cheers - Dai.
  13. I'm sure that I recognise the stewardess - now, what was her name... ? Looks a nice model (He means the plane! - Ed). Will go well with the Dizzie, methinks! Cheers - Dai.
  14. Keep at it, Joe - she can be tamed! BTW, you should get a 27 knot tail wind on the Test Flight if you're at 13500 ft. Team Mutley Registration has been accepted by Andrew - had trouble with email addresses. Ciao - Dai.
  15. Here's a preview of the Team Mutley repaint for the DH104 Dove: If you like it, I'll upload it to the Hangar Download section. John, tried your suggested approach to SKOC - fairly scarey, but do-able... Rob, many thanks - have put you in for those 'empty' Legs: Leg From/To nm Submit by Pilot 1 Bogota SKBO to Ocana SKOC 226 03 Sep 11 Dai 2 Ocana SKOC to Malaga SKLA 103 05 Sep 11 Dai 3 Malaga SKLA to Yaguarito SK53 190 08 Sep 11 Kieran 4 Yaguarito SK53 to Pitalito SKPI 208
  16. Let's hear it for Harry Corbett - the finest comedian on TV! Cheers - Dai.
  17. Test Flight in Dove completed: KIAS - 100 approx; tail wind 22 knots (Mag 273); Time = 32.33 min. Bit faster than you, Kieran, but close enough, eh? Average Test Flight Time thus = 33.97 min. As Rob hasn't got round to sending in his time, which should be similar (!), I'll enter 33.97 as Team Mutley's time. Hope that's O.K. Also, I've updated the TM Roster to show some of the early Legs that the three of us will share - provisionally, anyway...
