    A GA flight.

My god its been a while but yet here i am flying GA. Anyway, just had a hanckering this morning for something more gentile so fired up FSX and a Caravan for a short freight haul. The flight is from Launceston to George Town in sunny Tasmania. FTX scenery and mesh with OzX freeware airports. Only lightly edited hence why they are in Screenshots.. Thanks for taking a peek... steve

    iberia 757-200

Not sure about Gran Caneria for a holiday, not enough beach from what i can see. :mrhappy: Lovely shots sir, Iberia is one of my favourite color schemes. steve
  4. If you look on UK2000s' FSX VFR item, it has a demo of a few airfields out of the many and southampton is one. steve

    FSX for me!

Great shots Joe. I feel the rather massive sun spoils them a little as the lighting is not reflecting a sunrise very well. I agree FSX can be really nice but still i cling to FS9 for its top end freeware. Soon though i reckon it will go, once my FSX has a few more addons. steve
  6. Hey guys. I chucked the FS9 only Sabre into FSX and went for a spin. No VC due to the perspex being made of steel but all the rest was good. 2 edits the second a shot that even suprised me as FSX got it looking almost real without my tinkering. I still tinkered though Thanks for looking... steve
  7. Fantastic shots Wayne and the formations while a little cloned look really nice especially the low fly by. I try to change the angle of the shot very slightly for each aircraft and take a shot. Also have a go at editing the serial numbers. With regards to Photobucket put it on 1 megabyte option and it wont resize your shot. I'm only on the free one with the only downside, i constantly have to delete old images as it only holds 1000  Hope this helps... steve
  8. Another great flight for the ATWC. Any idea why you kept losing power ? The maps and commentary certainly polished off this post. Good job sir... steve

    TAP to madrid

Fantastic post and what a livery! Thanks for posting these up steve
  10. The nose end reminds me of a killer whale. Nice livery though, very eye catching. steve
  11. Nice shots Phil. The first North West really does it for me. steve
  12. A great set of shots you have there with many really outstanding! Thanks for posting these up. steve
  13. What Joe is saying is everyone will have their own opinion on if it looks right or not. I have seen many different colours at sunrise no doubt from different atmospheric condititions, where in the world you are and time of year. In other words there is no right or wrong in robs picture. Its a nice effort rob, very vibrant and certainly a great start to a days flying. steve
  14. Well am happy you guys liked it and will try fit in a few more airliner shots. Thanks George for your reply and it may well be a little bright. I find snow a slippery subject :mrhappy: Cheers guys!! steve
  15. Fantastic Post Rosario and fantastic choice of aircraft. Just the sort of post the ATWC was made for. Top marks sir!! steve
  16. Cheers guys, appreciate your comments. Rosario if you like USSS make sure you have UNNT which is made by the same Tolmachevo team and is the best ive ever seen. They both will feature in my leg of the ATWC and are a nice distance apart for budding airliner pilots. steve
  17. Cheers Joe, Yup i'm getting there slowly  Biggest challenge of my ATWC across russia at the moment is CTD. Seem to remember the North of Finland being the same in my last ATWC outing, can be very frustrating. I think like you said before the GPS could be the fault, as when i use an airliner like the PIC 737 i have no issues and that has no GPS. Still, no one said it would be easy. :mrhappy: steve
  18. Nice shot. Makes me want to try a night shot soon i think. steve
  19. Hey guys, Well its been a while since my last airliner but yes, here is one for you to take a peek at. The rather nice TU-154. before... ...and after a wee bit o' shopping. If i can learn to get the engines started, it may feature in my ATWC being in Russia and all. Thanks for looking... steve
  20. Too kind guys....glad you liked it. steve
  21. Top job sir! Love the old 707's, a real clean air aircraft :dance2: Watch out for them frenchies, might take a liking to a baton steve
  22. Cheers guys. The starter truck is actually there to start your aircraft and plugs in. The helmet on the wing is part of the fully shutdown scene. When you see the animated pilot in the pit he looks real. Be warned though, this thing can be fragile if mistreated. You can wreck hydraulics, cause fires and flameouts. Its a peach! FSX soon too. Dai shes on Avsim. Just search F-86 its the e/f model. steve
  23. Hey guys. Well this thing blows away all freeware and quite alot of payware too. Go get it! Here is an edit before and after... Cheers.... steve P.S. Go get it!!!
  24. Nice shots sir. A lovely choice of aircraft which i know you just bought, but have you ever been to HJG. They have some very nice 707's for free. Look forward to the next stage. steve
