  1. "Black day at SAD" As with all things in the world of hauling change is inevitable. Whilst all in the garden had seemed rosie on the surface it appears that SAD have been hiding a number of "incidents" from the public eye. It appears that one of their pilots - Jonathan Burns is a more than a little accident prone. Matters have come to a head after the third £30K plus accident in 8 days. After the latest incident the company Cargomaster - S3DER has been blacklisted by the "More or Less Than Insurance Company". The aircraft which has suffered significant damage recently can no longer be insured
  2. Really nice update Menno and good luck with your search for a new aircraft Good advice from Brett about taking your time. Think hard about what type of aircraft you want to fly before going for too large an aircraft.
  3. Has anyone painted the Just Flight DC 3? I was intending to have a go at it but I've not painted anything other than Carenado aircraft up to now. I can't seem to find the correct DDS files to paint for the Cargo version of this model. On a side note does anyone know why the Cargo version of this model has a passenger interior or have I missed something I should have changed/edited? I did post over on Just Flight Forum but it's a bit like a ghost town over there.
  4. Good luck Daffers, pleased you have eventually settled on a home base (well at least for the minute ) Africa will certainly pose different problems than us PNW flyers face, it does look nice though. I'm not sure how you couldn't get the 182 from the start in Career mode as that's how I started. The only thing is you have to get the overdraft from the bank and maybe you didn't want the debt. Anyway you are off and running now. Keep us updated on how you get on. Good luck
  5. I think this is it over at OZx - A2A Piper Cub N38365 http://aussiex.org/f...per-cub-n38365/ Main OZx Site
  6. "SAD back on track" Whilst all around the Hauling world seemingly partied the nights away all the SAD Crew were hard at work moving bases and establishing new routes around the Central Rocky Mountains. The closure of the CYPK base had the inevitable hit on business reputation but the move back south of the border away from the "Clowns" was still deemed worth it and SAD firmly believe they will recoup a lot of revenue now they are out of the clutches of the RCMP Clowns Henchmen. The SAD business has now been split into Eastern and Central Hubs. The Central Hub is being run by the CEO's daugh

    BAD or MAD?

Super update again Mike All the SAD staff have been too busy trying to put the business back on track to party, despite the protests of the staff and the promise of free booze (allegedly) the SAD CEO stamped his feet and demanded noses to the grindstone. Mr SAD was also worried about the threat of contagious diseases from such party interactions - apparently "Bird Flu", "Clown Foot" and "Hawaiian Hangover" were all too likely to be spread amongst the visitors
  8. Very nice fleet you have there Menno. Looks quite special with them all in corporate colours, I wish my painting skills were a bit better A very steady expansion, good job, keep up the good work.
  9. Very nice James - looks very good indeed. How do you find the space for all this and your lovely FSX set-up? Must be nice to have time for two hobbies
  10. Looking great as always. I haven't taken the plunge on this one yet but you are tempting me a lot

  15. Welcome to the forum This is a copy of a document I did for a friend and is quite long - it's a personal account and there will be other opinions but it may help. If it's too long or any admins wish to remove/shorten or amend please feel free, no worries. Essential FSX – buy the Gold Edition which includes the Deluxe version and Acceleration Expansion Pack and doesn’t need Service Packs as they are included. Hints and Tips Install FSX in its own specific location do not install in the default location on Win7 64 bit set-ups, it causes problems with UAC. Try C:\FSX or alternative drive, m
  16. Very nice shots Graham but can't you get some tablets for this "Tube" addiction? I thought it was just a phase you were going through but now I'm really worried about you

  20. Just a quick question really. Do many people use this product and would they recommend it? I have Traffic X but never really got away with it as it seems to do some rather strange things and as yet I haven't re-installed it.
  21. Nice update - good to see business is booming and good luck with your expansion plans (whatever they may be ) On the security front just watch out for Canadian "Holidaymakers" peering through your perimeter fencing
  22. I've recently purchased the Beaver and like it a loot. However I tried setting up a flight from Hoodsport and when I selected start location the aircraft is docked nose on into a jetty. How do you get the aircraft away from the jetty? There's no push back option and I can't see anything in the manual. It doesn't seem to float away from the jetty at all. Any help appreciated
  23. Nice shot - that's a beast of an aircraft though
  24. Excellent shots Rob it's a very nice region to tour around. I even bought the Beaver on the back of this so just to let you know you're on the wife's hit list aling with Graham What REX Theme did you use for Leg 3 of the trip?
