That's interesting. I have Mogwaisoft but haven't re-installed it on my new system yet as I couldn't get it all set up correctly when I first installed it. May be you can give me some inside information on how to get the best out of shade - I felt it made some things just too dark. Does shade work with ENB or are they doing different things?

Super update Mr B. That's a lot of pilots to keep happy though, that said keeping pilots happy seems to be what Mr B's good at! cough cough There's me thinking Prince Phillip was the Clown Prince, turns out it's the PanzerPlodder guy

Thanks to everyone for you comments. Just nice to be up and flying again. @Graham, yeah the first of many - I think this may have been my first payware aircraft in FSX

Clem I was going off this topic here http://enbdev.com/enbseries/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=727 This guy's trying to do what I wanted which was use the second monitor for instruments but ENB guy seems to be saying it won't work nor will he be working on it in future. I assume triple screen set-ups will work as normal with ENB but not sure.

The Jubilee celebrations presented an opportunity for a little flight from my home base EGNT Newcastle up the coast into Northumberland to Holy Island also known as Lindisfarne. It is a tidal island which is accessible at low tide by a causeway. The island has a rich history Northumberland's patron saint, Saint Cuthbert, was a monk and later Abbot of the monastery on the island, and his miracles and life are recorded by the Venerable Bede. Cuthbert later became Bishop of Lindisfarne After parking up at Northumbria Flying School next to Newcastle College Aviation Centre it was a short but wet

No mate that doesn't make any difference. I've done some diggig around and it is a known issue and according to ENB forum not one that will be fixed. ENB does not support multiple monitors so I guess it's either ENB or displays. Just gives me an excuse to get more Saitek panels

I've been using the ENB series enhancement for some time now and like it a lot. However now I have my two monitors set-up I was trying to use the 2nd monitor to display GPS and other instruments. I run in windowed mode and bring up GPS , unlock it and move to 2nd monitor but when I do this FSX goes back to default turning off ENB. Pressing Shift F12 won't bring it back on. I also have Plan G on half of the 2nd monitor so I can't use full screen mode. Does anyone know if this is normal or if there's a way from preventing it happening?

So what did you do this weekend?
Sabre replied to The red barron's topic in Members General & Announcements
Saturday - continued the seemingly never ending saga of re-installing FSX scenery Sunday morning - realised that re-installing secenery does come to an end after all Sunday afternoon (into Monday morning) - Jubilee party with Royal masks adourning several different drunken heads - highlight of the evening seeing the "Queen" flick the V's on the front lawn Monday morning - was there one? Monday afternoon - all is well with the world as the virtual skies are once again open for business Tuesday - take advantage of the extra day off to take in the rather bracing weather along the north -
Thanks for all the kind words it is indeed great to be back flying again, it beats the hell out of installing software :D @Brett I think I have confused you with my shots of the C46 Commando in the SAD Air Hauling topic. @Graham the new card definitely feels better than the ATI card. I had REX and Plan G running on the second monitor without any problems at all - really smooth. I've also been able to max out all the settings on the aircraft shadows and on the Orbx airfields which I couldn't do previously. Great to be back Cheers Graeme

After several weeks of absence I have finally got my rig up and running and have completed the arduous task of re-installing all of my scenery and aircraft. It was therefore with great pleasure that I managed to get back into the virtual skies and open SAD's doors once again. Here are just a few shots of a trip from Jackson Hole (KJAC) south into Paris Co 1U7.

"SAD Rises like a phoenix from the ashes" After the well documented sorry tale comes the good news story. SAD is alive and kicking picking itself up from the "PC ashes" to open its doors and get down to business once again. The staff are fully refreshed from the impromptu emergency leave and are already back in the skies above the Pacific North West. The Police investigations into the computer systems failures at Corporate HQ, Skagit Regional proved fruitless and suggestions that retired film stars/politicians were observed in the area also lead to a "dead end". Suggestions of RCMP involvemen

Super update Menno You've made an excellent job of both paint works. Congratulations on the expansion and an excellent choice of aircraft in the Cargomaster. I have three of them operating up North I gues you are lucky being so far south as you are well out of te reach of the Circus owner and his "in the back paocket" RCMP. Mounties don't travel well apparently especially in the heat.

Automated FSX.cfg tweaks
Sabre replied to mutley's topic in Flight Simulator X (FSX) / FSX Steam Edition
I've downloaded the latest version of the Nvidia Inspector but frightened myself a little when it came to making changes Does anyone still use this tool and if so what changes do you make? Do you use the tweaks in Mike's link? -
Super shots Rob, nice story too.

Them Tubes will be the death of you

-
Wrong link mate those aircraft haven't got any spinning prop thingies at the front
-
Hey mate I suffer a double whammy - she's a woman and they know everything and she's a Bank Manager so I never see any money without her say so
-
Oooooo wish I'd been a little more patient - that would have been tempting
-
Yeah wing it to victory The only thing it did say was to extract all three zip files to one folder before running installers, but you may do that anyway as a matter of course. I'm sometimes a bit lazy about extracting
-
Yes I found that also. In fact I wasn't sure the setup 2 and setup 3 installers had worked correctly if I'm honest.

GFX Card arrives tomorrow I've put one screenshot up with my 260 card installed. This is a lovely airfield
