Dave that looks horrid I'm sure as this is the latest scenery you have got that it must be at the highest level in the scenery settings? also look at this post on Aerosoft, appears to be the same you are getting? http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/viewtopic ... ight=lukla Answer was " Make sure you have the scenery at Very Dense or higher settings." Try that Dave Cheers

You are far too good David, pending posting of the name and ICAO, well done you are correct! Do you fancy posting another one?

Leg 13 VNKT Kathmandu -->> VNLK Lukla
mutley replied to mutley's topic in Around The World Challenge (ATWC)
Hi Dave, Sorry to hear of your troubles, I have mailed you. I can do the next leg if needs be but it would have been nice to see you ly from there. Cheers -
Hi Lidman, welcome to the forum. Looking at your proposed spec you will be going for the same processor as I have, everything else looks to exceed anything I presently have so FS9 will positively fly with that spec and FSX should run at a respectable speed. If MartinW is around he would be able to give you and expert opinion. Cheers

Leg 13 VNKT Kathmandu -->> VNLK Lukla

Dave, I would like you to go as far East as possible, do please check the performance of your chosen aircraft before flying i would like it to be as realistic as possible. If you manage to fly Yeti Airlines that would be great, perhaps you could try to find the hidden Yeti in the scenery on your way out Have a good one. Cheers -
Leg 13 VNKT Kathmandu -->> VNLK Lukla
mutley replied to mutley's topic in Around The World Challenge (ATWC)
Thanks Chris, I think you will find that your conversionis for Indian Rupees not Nepalese Rupees The Scenery is for FS2004 and is available from Aerosoft. Cheers -
Clues:- Seasons do not change very drastically. Spaniards would feel at home here. The national flag is like the Cuban Flag as if it had been designed by a dyslexic. That should be enough

Leg 13 VNKT Kathmandu -->> VNLK Lukla
mutley replied to mutley's topic in Around The World Challenge (ATWC)
Cheers Dave, You do not have to have the scenery to do the next leg I think this is only the second or third time I've ever landed here! Cheers -
The long awaited leg from Kathmandu to Lukla. Ah, Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. It brings to mind an oriental promise of Buddhist and Hindu temples and palaces, the Bhimsen Tower and a damn good curry! Well, when I got here it was smog bound, checked on the BBC, thunderstorms & High humidity. Not to be put off I trundled off to Tribhuvan International Airport. Lukla is our destination and I was feeling pretty luckless until the sight of my newly delivered Eclipse E500 VLJ lifted my heart. I'm not the only one off to Lukla today both RNA (Royal Nepal Airways to the uninitiate

I have just published my review of the VLJ as part of the review I tried out the paint kit and produced a Just Flight / Mutley's Hangar Flying Club livery. Here are some of the shots not published, enjoy.

I expect you have been here Fred :shrug_no: The scenery is quite new, I only downloaded it for this competition, if anyone wants a shot in the default FS9 then just let me know. I made it B&W as the airline livery would have given the game away!

Hi Dave, I don't have this problem, that looks like a Control Panel dll to me but as the system is hinting perhaps you should go to the audio card or chip manufacturer to get an updated dll once they've developed it. Other than that, a system restore which was made before the update and wait for a fix :shrug_no: Chees

Great shots Phil and that sure is a great re-paint. I didn't realise you were multi-lingual, does it hurt :shrug_no: Cheers

Well done Ben on completion of leg 12 there's some real nice shots in there, it's a shame the radios were turned off so we could not hear the commentary :sadblinky: So I will fly leg 13 tomorrow :shrug_no: I hope to complete the mission and post the shots but they may not appear until Saturday morning BST. I don't know about you guys but now and again I miss a really good post, maybe because it's been posted at an odd time as we encompass many time zones or you had a problem with your browser or the forum host plays up like it did last week so you don't notice it. You get the idea. If you have noticed someone's post on the forum that hasn't had the response you feel it deserves then post a link to it here in this thread stating your reasons! This is only to be used to highlight other peoples posts not to bump your own :shrug_no: Comments?

Ben, Thanks for the offer, it's yours! Don't forget the flight is time has been pre arranged to be Mumbai/VABB to Kathmandu VNKT in Nepal in the aircraft of your choice. When done create a new post for leg 12. Good luck and thanks for your help. Cheers

It sounds like you had an interesting day there John, I would certainly be captivated to see a Saturn V in real life, I remember having a model of it when I was a kid and all the components used to fit together like the real Mccoy the whole thing fascinated me. We even named two of our goldfish Snoopy & Charlie Brown! I have been to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in DC where I saw the Spirit of St. Louis and many famous space vehicles. That was over 20 years ago, l bet that has changed a lot too. Thanks for posting this John, we could almost re-name this section the chr

Nice post Sam, when do you fly back? Psychotic mood disorders :shrug_no: I like the episode of the two crew members hitting each other over the head with metal serving trays, that's the sort of thing I would do. Perhaps I'm psychotic? ..Who am I talking to :mrhappy:

Cheers Panos, looking forward to seeing it when I get home :mrhappy:
