  1. Sounds like a Yak 18 that I use, it has a habit of totally random engine failures. Can be very disconcerting when you're over a city and nowhere to pancake!
  2. Superb shots, looks like a great aircraft to fly.
  3. Poor Cows! Musty have increased their methane production tenfold!
  4. The future that never was! (The Avro 730 was scrapped just as the prototype was being built. It's titanium panels were turned into waste paper baskets! )

    Meeeg!

Mig 21. FSX freeware. Kaz Ito was the author I seem to recall. It's not perfect but looks the part until something better comes along. Thanks for viewing.
  6. I wouldn't touch the food on that flight,........may catch Salmonella!
  7. One of my friends apparently grew two new legs! He lost both lower limbs in Afghanistan, .....but the bloody PIP assessors deemed that he may get better and so took away his Motability car! They said he didn't need help getting around! WTF!! Naturally he is appealing the decision.
  8. I've no doubt at all, Just got to wait at the moment as finances in a state of flux. All the disability benefits are changing over here and I've just had to apply for PIP,(personal independence payments) which are replacing my DLA, (disability living allowance.) They want to know the ins and outs of a cats backside on the application form, now just go to wait and see if I still qualify,.......or if by some miracle I've suddenly got better! So until I know what's happening the hangar will be very limited as to what comes into it. definately want one at some point though.
  9. That looks great, but i'll wait until the price drops a bit!
  10. Well in case anyone is interested the last aircraft was the Polikarpov I-1. http://www.ratomodeling.com/finished/il400/72051.jpg
  11. It can get warm but most cockpits have cool air blowers or Aircon on modern aircraft. The T-34 would just have blowers, don't forget though, the higher you go the colder it gets inside the cockpit inspite of all the perspex. Trainers generally stay fairly low in comparison to front line aircraft so the temps would stay pretty reasonable.
  12. Took one of the T-34s on a chug along the coast from Goodwood , passing over Portsmouth and Southampton then finally turning inland to land at Boscombe Down. The aircraft is the Caranedo payware model. Together with the T-28 these are becoming my mounts of choice just lately. Thanks for viewing.
