Hi John I agree that SPAD isn't the culprit..sounds like an issue with both FSUIPC and EZDOK trying to use the same command. Maybe a bit like the strange and unpredictable happenings when controls are set up in both FSUIPC and in FSX. FSUIPC doesn't always 'play well with others' By process of elimination it could be better to completely delete the zoom view in EZDOK and FSUIPC, reboot and then re-program the saitek throttle slider in FSUIPC. Although I don't have EZDOK, I did look into buying it a while back and vaguely remember something about zoom in EZDOK causing issues with some airbu
  3. It was amazing..the IMAX screen is so clear. We'll worth seeing (although I would have liked a few more planes in it).
  4. So excited... Surprise tickets to IMAX London to watch Living in the Age of Airplanes.. its the only place in the UK it's being shown. Thanks Huz
  5. Second.. is an early morning A380 flight out of Osaka, climbing out over the Akashi-Kaikyo bridge
  6. A couple of moody shots.. PA-28 over the Mackinac bridge in Michigan. The bridge is thought, by some, to be to scary to cross so the Mackinac Bridge Authority has a Drivers Assistance Program that provides drivers who will take your vehicle across for you (presumably, while you close your eyes)
  7. HI everyone I finally got around to installing the REX Essentials and Overdrive that I bought back at the end of 2013 (yes, I know... I managed to misplace the discs for a while!) I'm having some issues with it and I could really do with a bit of help. I did find a really handy YouTube video explaining about installation, which happened to be posted by one of the original Beta Testers for the Overdrive software, but I'm still not having much luck. I have installed the software from the 3 discs I was sent when I purchased it. At the end I am prompted to make sure I have run the inst
  8. Great ride Pete. Love the choice of aircraft, and the colour of the water just makes you want to dive right in.. Time to hire some scuba gear and enjoy some R&R ? Think you earned it after the trials of the last few days
  9. Thanks so much for setting it up Joe! You do spoil us.. Believe me, it will be good to keep the FS pics well away from any photos of me on holiday in my bikini Fantastic addition to the Hangar functionality.
  10. Hear hear John. Remembering those that fought and died for the freedom of others should never be forgotten.
  11. Hummm... that UK link took me to VistaPrint ! Okay....not exactly brimming over with confidence here. On the positive side, the idea of having interchangeable covers for the TQs is a cool idea as you could change out the plates depending on which AC you want to fly, but definitely not at the expense of your existing hardware. I also liked the idea of the spring and the notches for the flaps, but it does look like some further development is indicated. The 'non-reversing' reversers is, regrettably, something that will put most people off ... If they don't work, then they're about as mu
  12. Great ride Kasper It is a bit freaky flying in bad weather. well done for making it intact and without any scratch on the bird.
  13. Actually, I believe you've got till 1st October.. although, I'm not sure I can wait that long to read it I think my trip to Avenger field has disrupted the space/time continuum Perfect, I can blame your time traveling from now on, because of course I couldn't have made a mistake updating the board .. I was just wondering how fast I'd have to get the Expeditor up to in order to reverse the effects... 88mph worked for the DeLorean but I think I might need a bit more

Fantastic!!! That is going to be one memorable flight. Would be great to see some photos if you get any.
  16. Very interesting to watch.. The guys are just about to pushback for a flight in the 747 to Hong Kong with MTOW. Wish I could sit up and watch this all evening.. unfortunately, as usual, real life has to take over at some point. Thanks for posting Brian
  17. Ooooohhhhh... I'm having some of that. Just added the Aerosoft A318/219 & A320/320 bundle to my hangar... Of course this is just a celebration of me getting my first wage cheque for my new job...
  18. Looks like Orbx has done a good job with that release. Even with the schoolboy errors with the textures, it still looks like a worthwhile buy, especially as they haveisn't thed much of the surrounding area as well... this isn't just one airport in the middle of stock FSX scenery. Might have to add it to the Christmas list
  19. Brilliant PIREP John, loved the quick thinking manoeuvre and putting the Anson on its back. Classy move Glad to see that you and the baton made it in one piece
  20. This day in history 25th October 1999 – A Learjet 35 carrying golf legend Payne Stewart, flying between Orlando and Dallas suffered a decompression at just below 40,000 ft. The aircraft continued to fly for 4 hours until, after 1,500 miles it finally ran out of fuel.
  21. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention.. http://aviationbuzzword.com/the-story-of-the-ultimate-high-flying-beer-run/ Love the way they used altitude to keep the beer cool..
  22. Thanks John. I have to say that some of your previous PIREPS gave me inspiration We didn't get quite that far off course but NM does look like an interesting place to explore.. who could resist a visit to Weed or Truth or consequences! I didn't John, but I want to believe that the truth is out there..
  23. Just remembered that I didn't post details of the spec, Freeware etc. Platform: FSX Acceleration with stock scenery (no Global, no Weather add ons etc.) C-45H Expeditor (Freeware) :Vladimir Gonchar's FSX adoptation of the FS9 D18S cargo plane by Milton Shupe Martin B26 Marauder (Freeware) : W. E. Stephens & Philippe Wallaert Scenery (Freeware) : Avenger Field KSWW Tribute to WASP Zebulon C. Gardner Jr. & Sidney Schwartz [Note: this is a really well executed freeware add on, with some very interesting historical info about Jacqui Cochran and the WASPs . Well worth a look]
