  1. I'm just about to jump into it, 1984 version was my first game on my C64 ! I have already watched hours of videos since the beta. Will be in the stars next week !
  2. I am taking the Skymaster from the company's main base in Prince Rupert to its future base in Prince George. Due to the bad weather of the last days (rain, snow, low ceilings) I am making short hops when weather allows. This time it was a slalom in the fjords because of broken clouds at 700 feet and a reduced visibility on arrival. It ended with a greaser landing at CYBD, but looking at the weather ahead in the mountains, I called it a day...
  3. I have been using Steam for years as I play the strategy Total War series which require install through Steam since Empire Total War (even if I own the DVD and the box). I play 90% of the time offline and only connect to Steam once in a while for possible updates. Never had a problem so far. Steam doesn't make any games, it's only an online store.
  4. Hi and a Happy New Year 2015 to you and your company. The best times in Air Hauler are always when you start a new company !
  5. Happy New Year 2015 to all people at Mutley's and families from Airbus City !
  6. Thanks Matt, same to you. It was also in November 2013 that I installed Air Hauler and found this great place. As far as real life is concerned, 2014 was a good year for me as I am now officially in retirement and have therefore a lot more free time for flight sims ! (and I have some plans for 2015...) A happy next year to all from Airbus city.
  7. Added to my Xmas presents the Staggerwing and Pitts S2s from Alabeo this morning, 17 Euros alltogether.
  8. For Simconnect you might want to have a look there : "For customers of our aircraft I've posted this to help with the installation into the new directory; http://a2asimulation...hp?f=23&t=44071 cheers, Lewis A2A "
  9. Information from A2A that a new version of FSUIPC has been released : http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4048600/3 Other post from A2A : I'm loving having FSX on steam, the all under one roof is great and the introductionary price is a great gesture. I cant see how this new blood (Steam celebrated 6million accounts recently so even a small percentage of this would go a long way) can be a bad thing for the flight simulation genre. For customers of our aircraft I've posted this to help with the installation into the new directory; http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic
  10. Hello and welcome ! Nice trip and cute li'l bird.
  11. Downloaded for 4.99 Euros, I keep it stored (it's on another HD ) as a last ditch solution in case of problems reinstalling the original... Works fine.
  12. Great job ! If I had any interest in flying liners, it would certainly look attractive...
  13. Was about to say the same as Brett, the Goose redux is a real improvement on the default Goose. I'm also in love with the little bugger which I also fly along the Alaskan coast ...

    3some

    + 1 ! the other shots ain't bad either...
  15. When I was young I also had my lab developing my black and white pics ! Don't regret it though as I have as much fun processing my pics on the PC. I use the 150 - 500 mm Sigma for my nature pics ( and for airshows from time to time ) on my Nikons D90 and D7000. Bought it two years ago second hand and about half price from a guy who had used it for 3 months and made may be 100 shots before realizing it was too heavy for what he was doing. I mostly use it with a monopod. For Xmas I treated myself with a second hand 105mm f2.8 Nikkor macro. I got it for 600 Euros and it will be useful
  16. "Every pilot should have flown a Spitfire"... Nice pic !
  17. With Carenado sales going on, I bought the Skymaster which was missing in my hangar, always liked the look of that plane. This afternoon I introduced "Spirit of St Tropez" to its region, as the plane will be based in Cannes Mandelieu (LFMD) A short flight from Cannes to Saint Tropez, overflight of Ramatuelle and the Pampelonne beach, and back to Cannes. Nice weather on the Côte d'Azur this afternoon !
  18. Same to you, bet you can drop quite a few Xmas parcels with this one !
