Hi all! I'm a bit slow with these, but hey-ho. On Sunday, 15th September, Dublin had a unique flypast down the River Liffey as part of 'The Gathering 2013'. Over 30 aircraft participated over the 3 hour flypast. The last time something like like happened was pre-war, so a lot of people turned out! Sadly, the weather wasn't great. High winds and rain prevented the smaller aircraft, like Iolar (the DH84 Dragon) and the Irish Aer Corps FR-172's. Anyway, on with the shots! To start the preceedings, an Irish Aer Corps AW-139 flew down the crowd-line with the Irish Flag. 274

An interesting read is 'Bomber Offensive' by Arthur Harris. Interesting as it does show what he really thought, not what modern historians think he thought. Also shows how forward looking he could be
