I would have thought there would have been some warning generated too but all I could find were documents relating to incorrect gear position in a landing/ditching scenario. Maybe Aurbus figured the big pretty green lights were enough.. Jess B may know..being the resident Airbus guru

Love the pics Loic! YOu should consider doing a leg in ATWC7.. you have a gift for getting some great shots. I've been a fan of Misty Moorings for several years but have yeat to install them on this rig.. Having been inspired by your travels, i will definitely be hooking out the files from my 'archive's and reinstalling.

Yey, welcome back Dan! Great that you are home safely I've been out of it for a while too, but having been back a week or so, its like i never left. Hope to see you up flying and posting once you have the PC running sweet

Sector 1 Announcing Section 1 of ATWC 7even
hlminx replied to mutley's topic in Challenge Control Centre (CCC)
Hi Beejay I dabbled with 'ADE' a few years back but never managed to get it to do what i wanted. Some have found it a breeze to create scenery, but sadly, my talents lie in another direction [not yet sure what that is, lol] Looking forward to seeing some new pilots getting the baton around the world. Its got to be one of the most fun games of 'tag' out there -
Thanks Brian Feels good to be back.. although it will take me weeks to install everything again. Somehow it just feels good to have a nice clean PC again

Thanks Joe Been a while, but i'm looking forward to immersing myself in ATWC again. In fact, i think i might take leg 12 as well... just to eeeeease myself back into it -
Agreed.. it looked for a moment that it was going to be a hard one, but deftly handled. Jim - when's the next forary into the blue yonder?

Bit of an update Vector is now on.. after 3 failed attempts All my previously transferred FSS add ons have been installed I installed Orbx England last night from the original disc but ran it in Admin mode and by right clicking the Application file rather than auto loading. Unfortunately it appears it has also installed FTXC2 (contrary to what the Orbx site told me) but FTXC3 appears to not have an issue with it as long as all the old Service Packs are installed too. If there are any more updates for England then i'll have to hope they issue a manual SP file as well.

Just watched your Twitch video on the Connie flight. Starting those engines was a nightmare but well done for sticking with it. She looks a beautiful aircraft to fly.. I can see why you are so taken with her. Look forward to your next stream.. when do you normally schedule them?

Fantastic shots there Matt. The P-47 looks like a nice bird to fly, even if it is opticlaustrophobic (love that one) Yep, 2 wheels are preferable when going to a big gig like the eclipse.. Husband and i often opt for the Blackbird when we have to go somewhere busy like an airshow or concert. Free parking too

Even though they make a big point of saying that the flight crew were both female, I did have to laugh. One wonders how they even realised that they didnt have enough fuel to make Mumbai! Gotta wonder what the cockpit conversation on take off was: 'V1...rotate... positive rate...hey, loving your nail art.. is that gel or acrylic? You must give me the number of your nail salon' . Or maybe 'did you see the price of the coffee in the crew lounge at Kolkata has gone up 10%? Scandalous' Would love to hear what was on the CVR when they configured for landing..

Thanks for the link Joe.. at least i know its in the pipeline: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/130058-boxed-versions/ Hoping there may be a solution in the meantime if anyone has any good ideas

Yep.. only have issues with Orbx at the mo. I did a clean install of FSX, then installed FTX central 3. I had some items that i purchased from FSS which i had moved to orbx direct and am trying to install those (with some problems).. I have some that lance purchased for me from FSS which they refused to transfer to my account. I have several boxes copies that I purchased from FlightStore that I need to install but I remember that they used to try and install FTX central as part of the installation.. As I installed FTXC3 from a clean machine rath

The FTX Central 3 debacle continues... I have several boxed copies of ORBX add ons which i purchased from 'Flightstore' ... NOT 'Flight Sim Store' How on earth do Install those? I can't find anything on the Orbx forum as everything relates to FSS. Am i being thick here? What on earth do i do with them? I'm already looking at the possibility of having to re-purchase all the Orbx software that hubby bought for me from FSS (which refuses to transfer them to me), and i am going to go spare if i have to re-purchase everything from Flightstore as well

Wow.. acronym overload there John and i thought SAP had enough strange T-codes
-
Despicable Me's VECTOR (the nerdy one)
-
Wow.. so there are others out there? SAP can be a bit of a complicated beastie at the best of times.. can't believe we both do it (intetionally) for at least 8hrs a day! Ps. Can't wait for ATWC 2017/18 !!
-
Fantastic news!! I cant think of a better way to ease myself back in than a leg of ATWC. Hopefully I can get the rig back to where she should be by then.. Bring it ON boys!!
-
Hi all.. and thanks for the replies on the FTX3. It's been a bit quiet from me of late.. i'm finally in the throes of the UAT for the SAP system i've been working on for the last year, so i've spent less time in the cockpit than i would have liked.. try about 5 hours in 3 months! Having so much of my ORBX stuff on boxed disc i thought i would try and get as much on there before moving to FTX3 but already i'm looking for a brick wall to bang my head against I still haven't got any further apart from installing SAK and immediately getting error messages about
-
Thanks guys. I may install as many of the orbx sceneries as I can then do a nice big system image backup.. gotta say I'm flummoxed as to why they have once again put out software without any uninstaller.. kinda makes me very very wary ...

Hi all.. As I have been out of things for a while, I have resurfaced to find there is a new FTX central 3 Before mindlessly installing it, I thought I'd better see what I could find out.. The initial search results were a mixture of elevation issues, library insertion problems, but also some positives (well, I guess it qualifies), in that you don't have to change areas.. My questions are: 1. As i was part way through reinstalling several of my orbx regions when I disappeared, should I install them first with FTX central 2 given that most of them are boxed? 2. Wi
