  1. to Mutley's Hangar Brian, hope you enjoy your stay Love your avatar Not sure I understand your copy and paste question? What is it your trying to copy and paste? Apologies if I'm missing something obvious.
  2. I have the same view with regard to traffic. Set and forget for me so I would re-state my recommendation of Ultimate Traffic 2. Set the level of traffic you want to see and then set UT2 to automatically start when FSX is started. That's it
  3. Cheers Paul. Sticking with the 182 for the whole journey. I'll think of some other adventure for the Comanche Good luck with the install, will be good to take to the skies once more.
  4. Excellent work. Love your repaints, always top quality
  5. Excellent work Don't suppose you do requests Would love to see this one.
  6. Just thought I'd add a couple from me, hope you don't mind. No problem with the people for me Matt so I'm not sure what is happening.
  7. Well it was time to move on to the second leg of the journey. My old Squadron Leader decided he'd stayed in one place for a little too long and asked if he could tag along. This did take me a little by surprise but I didn't think too much of it. Mind you it's true to say that he did have a bit of a reputation as a ladies man back in the day but his memory always seemed to play tricks on him. I did wonder if his sudden desire to leave the area may be have been linked to his wandering eye and silver tongue which had seen him in a few close scrapes. Anyway bags packed and we were off back to EGNJ
  8. Beautiful shots Matt Just going to try it out now.
  9. Thanks Joe - looking forward to this one
  10. They released the manual for viewing earlier today so it has to be soon
  11. Excellent video Peter I really enjoyed it. The scenery and lighting look superb Thanks for posting
  12. Thanks for all the nice comments chaps. @Ray don't worry about posting things in the topic. I think it's great that this wonderful hobby can generate all kinds of discussion from people all over the world. On the fish and chip front I don't think you can go past Whitby in North Yorkshire. They have 2 or 3 superb shops/ restaurants. I think it's something to do with the cold northern air @Peter feel free to post away. I do like to add bits and pieces into my adventures just to keep myself and everyone interested. If you like UK based tours check this out from a few years ago, I had a blast
  13. Thanks Gents Ray, I'm using the ORBX England scenery. Thinking about it I should have listed my addons, I'll do that now
  14. I've decided it's time to travel. Tinkering is all well and good but the joy is in the flying. Of course I'm preaching to the well and truly converted. I've decided upon a small adventure to tour the coast of Britain in a clockwise direction from my home at EGNT Newcastle. I'm flying the lovely Cessna 182 from A2A Simulations sporting the excellent G-AZNO skin by Ron Attwood. I intend a series of short flights but essentially sticking to the coast or at least coastal areas. The first flight would take me from EGNT to EGNJ Humberside to visit my old Squadron Leader from "Treble One" Fighter Sq

    Flight Log Book

Well you're right it's not what I was thinking in the context of the question but it is something I've thought about. I fly mainly GA aircraft and I believe there are virtual flight clubs out there. It's probably a bit like VATSIM though, I like the idea of it but it terrifies me for some reason. Not sure why! Probably the thought of messing up I guess.
  16. Yeah fingers crossed I know what you mean Wayne I had all kinds of flights planned this weekend, ended up a complete waste

    Flight Log Book

Is there such a thing as a "simple" flight log book? I'd like to keep some basic records of the flights I undertake, just basic details, times, dates, route etc I thought about just creating a spreadsheet but didn't want to "reinvent the wheel" if there's something out there. Google comes up with all kinds of results a lot of which have all sorts of additional stuff I don't want. Any suggestions?
  18. Beautiful set of shots Matt. The scenery looks excellent, a lovely place to haul cargo
  19. Update - well it seems to have been driver related, well at least that's the position tonight. Updating FSUIPC made no difference but at least that's up to date now I completely uninstalled the existing drivers and made a clean install of the last but one NVIDIA driver and I've made two flights - one for an hour and a second 40 minute flight without a crash. The only thing I have on occasion but I've had it a while is FSX crashes with a fatal error on exiting FSX. Thanks for the help chaps
