How's about ..... MutEx ..... short for Mutley's Hangar Express? I think something like it has been done before, but the name's short and would readily be made into a motif.... Just an idea from down on the the farm (Aarrrr! Ed). Cheers - Dai.

Any chance of pre-1934, Boss? 1933 was an important year for one of my favourites - the Houston-Everest Fly-over (Not to be confused with the Hammer-Smith Fly-over - Ed)? Cheers - Dai. -
Thanks for that, John - compelling reading covering most of the angles. I've wondered about this aspect of searching for black boxes since reading Michael Criichton's Airframe. And then there's the problem of mid-ocean ATC - or lack of it. With the intrinsic value of any passenger aircraft higher, in human life terms at least, than practically any other of man's endeavours, why can its progress not be continuously monitored? Let's face it, were not back in the days of Apollo when Jodrell Bank and Woomera (or whatever) needed to be emplyed as a 'relay' station, are we? Maybe your 'wish' will co

Sorry to be late, but, in the true spirit of Hangar Cameraderie, here's 3 from me - dredged up from the archive, I'm afraid, been really busy lately...... Number One - Flight over Everest: Number Two - Some fun touring with Vorona Aviation in Madagascar: And, lastly, Number Three - Finding the climbers on Snowdonia (Horizon scenery): Looking these up was a somewhat nostalgic - not much chance of a prize, but, then, competing isn't always about winning, is it?!? Oh Yes - a big THANK YOU to PhotoBucket for keeping these gems safe.... Cheers - Dai. -
O.K., Steve - I give up! Outstanding - camera position, subject matter, edit - leaves me speechless, mate! Cheers - Dai.

Now then, Stu - that was an excellent debut flight for the Hangar! Thanks very much for sharing and taking so much trouble to present the screenshots and commentary so well. :nea: You will certainly be a welcome contributor to the ATWC - go for it! Cheers - Dai. :nea:

Hi Colin - does your mobo have PCI-E slots? If not, then you'll need to go for the AGP type of graphics card. These are old style cards but can still be obtained. Also, when you consider more memory, use a supplier whose website tests your PC for memory compatibilty - avoids costly mistakes! Good luck.... Cheers - Dai.

Now then, young Edward - that was an impressive leg - Well Done, Sir! Wish I could handle the 747 - bit big for me and too many systems to get wrong.... Loved the Dizzie - now that's more like it, eh?!? Thanks for the ride. Cheers - Dai. -
