  1. Ah, found it! The Bell 412. Is that it?
  2. Mmm, that makes me think...there's a four-bladed, twin engine variant of the Huey, but I can't remember what it is. If anybody else knows, they can take the win, if I'm right.
  3. I'm going to have to be more creative then....
  4. Here's my first one. I hope I'm allowed to post another Bond one. If not, I'll remove it pronto. Number 2
  5. I quite enjoyed weaving through those munros. And it made me think: hopefully the MEBER 2013 will feature something seriously sadistic; like munro-bagging, in 1-mile visibility, while trying to land at a shortish field like Plockton. Now that would be fun. Or end up with a lot of pilots perched precariously on the hillsides!
  6. "You know Mate, I'm really not quite sure about that aftershave..."
  7. I reckon you really don't want to do that after having breakfast. Spectacular vid though. It's amazing that an aircraft can stand up to that kind of a punishment and keep going.
  8. Corte it is. I'll give this one to you, mulletman. Rosario was close, but not quite there (sorry, Ros). As for the clues; you're quite right. Asterix in Corsica featured the poor's pirate captain's ship being sunk by a Coriscan cheese, which makes one wonder how good an aid to digestion it is (certainly, have no candles in the toilet ). And Napoleon was born in Corsica. My third clue was going to be that this airport was inland, whereas all the others are on the coast.
  9. Close. Very, very close. Just a bit further north.
  10. First clue) In one particular Asterix and Obelix adventure, an unfortunate pirate captain's boat gets blown up by "an infernal device in the form of a cheese." Which adventure was that? Second clue) One of the world's great military strategists was born here (in the province)
  11. That's the one. Over to you John. As for the clues: Henrietta spends some time laying low in Sicily; Mount Etna provided the volcanic imagery for Mustafar; and Sicily plays host to Enna Pergusa, a racing circuit formerly used by SBK.
  12. Second clue: look at season 1 of Gunslinger Girl, the planet Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith, and former World Superbike racing circuits.
  13. Thanks Rob. Okay, here's the new one. Clue: What do Henrietta (a character from the anime, Gunslinger Girl), Star W\rs and motor racing have in common? (And ignore that bit in the lower right corner. That was Picasa popping up at the precise time I took the shot.)
  14. VNKT? The mountains look familiar.
  15. Here's a vid I made, having finally managed to upload something of decent quality. I recorded this during an ATWC-type adventure, flying through the Northwest-Passage on my way to Russia. My apologies for the twitchy camera movements; I had to use the HAT switch on the joystick. The takeoff I included for the engine sounds; so turn it up loud! The second landing was included to show what my landings in the FW-190A normally look like (in fact they are almost always worse! ). Anyway; hope you enjoy the show.
  16. Mirage 2000-5. Dassault Rafale The past and the present: a Dewoitine D520 and the Mirage 2000-5
  17. And begun the start of mine! Clue: In the ancient world, those mountains in the background were believed to be the source of the Nile.
