FW-190A. Tough to land, but great fun nonetheless.
-
Yeti's and Yeti airlines. One is actually a bear and the other employs otters: both native to Nepal.
-
Dai's got it. Although I'm going to need the code, sir.
-
Clue number 4: You might find a Yeti nearby (ones that fly and those with big feet).
-
Clue number 3: This city is the second largest in this country (according to wikipedia). The three mountains mentioned earlier are among the ten highest in the world, all within 30 miles of this city.
-
Clue number 2: This is a good place to go if you want to climb very high mountains, like the three in the background.
-
Ok, the aircraft is a round-about clue. Also, those mountains are a clue, specifically their height.
-
That's the one. Over to you, Pacinka.
-
Here's the next one.
-
Got it. The BAC One-Eleven.

That's the one. All yours Dai. As for the clues: Houghton is Joburg suburb, and Houghton is a county of Michigan, of which the county seat is Houghton, and the airport is Houghton County Memorial Airport. The rally car is Ken Block's Ford Fiesta rally car, with which he competed in the Lake Superior Rally, held in the Houghton area, as part of Rally America (which is not a WRC event). Taking the screenshot from Dirt3 is also a clue, as one of the areas is Michigan, the others being Finland, Norway and Kenya, none of which look the same, in-game, as Michigan.
-
You're close. Right country, but you want to go further north. 4th clue: The Johannesburg suburb you are looking for is a wealthy one and home to Nelson Mandela.
-
3rd clue: 1) The airport also shares part of its name with the aforementioned suburb. 2) This rally is not a current nor past WRC rally. And the rally's name does not contain the name you are looking for (based on my research).
-
2nd clue: This should help you find the area you're looking for and once you find that, you should find the airport. Though this is a screenshot from a game, the car exists in real life, as does the driver, as does the rally.

Thanks brett. And before I forget. In my previous submission, I said that the clouds were a clue, if you thought of them as something else. That was a reference to the veldfires that are common on the Highveld in winter. Here's the new one: Clue: The county within which this airport is located, as well as the county seat, shares a name with a Johannesburg suburb.
-
Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. KATL. Rwy 10. Now Mr Dennis, what have you to say to that? Mmm?
-
Going to take a wild guess and say Chicago O'Hare.
-
Rand Airport it is, Rob. Over to you. The airport in the background is OR Tambo, once known as Johannesburg Intl. And the Rand is South Africa's currency.
-
Same hemisphere.... Second clue: The airport in the background, in FSX, shares its name with a city, but in real life has been (fairly recently) renamed in honour of a politician. The one in the foreground's name...has something to do with money.
-
What put me onto the trail was the Ontario/Paris clue, although there was more than one Ontario as well as more than one Paris, so it took a bit of time. Great clue! Here's the next one: I want the airport in the foreground. The one in the background is a clue: find that and you find the one in the foreground. The clouds are also a clue, if you imagine them as something other than clouds, at this time of the year, in this country (although it never looks this bad, more sparse, but visible for miles).

Gotcha! I think. Magic Reservoir, U93?
-
Yes it is Kieran. An FW190A-8 if I remember correctly. Over to you.
