  1. There is an option to 'Play Offline', although I can't quite remember where it is
  2. Personally I have had no problem with Steam (or DTG for that matter). They have been talking about a new gaming engine for Train simulator 2014 (they are releasing TS2015 in September, I think with the new engine), so the experience of the former MSTS code and looking deeply in the FSX code could produce a new game. Interest of people buying FSX Gold (Steam) could persuade them to develop a new one. TS2014 is currently available as a disc, but requires Steam activation One good thing about DTG is that they have continued to give the core update for free. I got the original Railworks in 200
  3. Nope. As I said, one of three wings it carried, but not all at the same time. Two top wings, one fixed wing
  4. OK - next one. One of three wings, but not all at the same time
  5. MFI-17 Mushshak (an improved Saab Safari)
  6. Morning folks! A few photos from Bray, Co. Wicklow of the air display along the seafront. Quite nice weather too! See - https://www.flickr.com/photos/111752039@N08/sets/72157645465092319/ Regards, Kieran
  7. If there is volunteers there that have been 'trained' in Health and Safety, the Vulcan could be open. Same as the Shack and the Hastings. On 'Open Cockpit Days' I imagine they are all open. I went into the Vulcan in 2008 and the Hastings in 2010
  8. Superb shots there Dai - no suprise on the aircraft front though!
  9. Unfortunately at this time I'm not trusting either the Ukrainians or the Russians to be accurate - they both want to blame each other as much as possible. If it can be independantly confirmed (especially not by the US, since they (amongst others) seem to be heading back to Cold War politics), then yes I would accept it
  10. First two-hundredth? Sounds like a hoax to me And just because it was fired from the Russian separatists territory doesn't automatically make them responsible
  11. Expect some conspiracy theories - TWA 800 crashed on the same date, supposedly shot down by a USN secret missile. The NTSB said a centre fuel tank explosion, but many still believe the rocket. Suprised no-one in the media has made the link yet
  12. http://www.reuters.com/news/pictures/slideshow?articleId=USRTR3Z2GM#a=1 Looks like it did indeed impact in Ukraine. i wasn't sure to begin with from those photos - nothing to show a 777, only a large aircraft. There were reports of an IL-76 being shot down around Ukraine today as well
  13. Which one are you using John? A quick Google search came up with this - http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/2240/fsx-raf-shorts-tucano/ And this - http://www.simshed.co.uk/Tucano.html
  14. Thanks folks @Richard - we'll try to come up with more original place names if you also do @John - correct, there were V-1 bits there, as well as parts from a crashed Lancaster. There will be more German rocketry in the near future when I upload the shots I took at Cosford the next day
  15. I can't say that I have had that problem John but will check it out for you
  16. Hi all, A few of the snaps taken from my recent trip to the UK to relax after exams. The first batch is from Newark Air Museum, on the former RAF Winthorpe site and part of the Newark Showground. Included is the little flypast by the RAF Hercules: https://www.flickr.com/photos/111752039@N08/sets/72157645289964188/ Thanks for looking! Kieran
  17. Do you count the unfortunate gear incident being 'unscathed' Brian?
  18. My aircraft will be the Mossie - http://www.cbfsim.co.uk/cbfs_lib/thumbnails.php?album=48
  19. 1300 UTC = 1400 UK Time http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/index.php/topic/9300-mutleys-hangar-rough-guide-to-multiplayer-without-gamespy/
