  1. Great shot Rosario, but I fear you need to go lower to win this one :th_smiles73:
  2. Congrats Simi.. a great shot that must have taken some work to set up.. Time well spent as it turned out :icon_thumbup:
  3. Even if it's been entered a few times already I just have to throw another BAe JS4100 into the mix for this month..
  4. Hi John. First of all, :icon_welcomeani: to the most friendly FS-forum on the web. I guess it was the wrong time of day for getting a quick response last night. To post your images from Imageshack you need to use the link called "direct". By the looks of it you used the "Link" version. Just copy the Direct link, and click on the small image icon in the toolbar (5th icon from the right) and paste the link there and the screenshot should show up... Hope that helps /Micke
  5. I'm late to join in on the celebrations as usual, but here's a big :bday: from me too..
  6. Ah, finally. I've had my eyes on this one for a while. The glass cockpit version looks really great judging by the preview shots I've seen on the JF forums. Lots of useful info crammed into that panel.
  7. New video of the NGX in use with People Flow from ORBX... great looking stuff. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1802061981788

    Luxembourg?

I've got it, but I have to admit it's been a while since I flew there.. I think I had an AirHauler base there in the company I first started out with back when AirHauler was released. I posted a few shots back when I got it. You can find them here. It's not the best scenery I've seen, but far from the worse too. I also think I had some issues with random collisions with invisible objects on parts of the taxiway, but I think that was fixed in a Patch. And the two VFR-airfields are not much more than tiny strips. One of them is a big challange to land at though.. tiny and short on top of a rid

    ChCh Earthquake.

Very bad news indeed. The news coverage looked like it's a really nasty situation down there. News on big quakes always makes me glad I live in a geologicaly stable part of the world.
  10. I have to agree with the rest, no need to apologise for any of those shots... Looks absolutely fabulous...
  11. The only thing that springs to mind is to avoid installing FSX in the default location since the whole folder structure below C:\program files are under "protection" from the UAC system (i think it's called). If installed in the default location everything needs to be running "as administrator" to work (and no, being logged in as a user with administrator rights isn't enough). Installed elsewhere and you should have no trouble at all. I actually disabled the UAC, got so tired of getting all those question asking if I'm sure I want to do this or that.
  12. Great review Joe.. Love that you included the historical background too. And I have to agree with both you and Aidan that it's a great airport to fly from.
  13. Tower! 2011 was released yesterday (10th of february) by feel there. It features Ground and Tower operations and ships with three airports (Miami Intl (KMIA), Los Angeles Intl (KLAX) and Cyril E King Airport (TIST)). In single player mode you act as both Ground and Tower, but in the multiplayer version you can split the responsibilites of Ground and Tower on two players. So far I'm enjoying it alot, even if I havn't gotten around to using the voice controll yet. More info can be found here. Further expansions will include TRACON and ATCC simulations that can be used in multiplayer session
  14. I'm running an ATI-card at the moment (HD 5770 if i remember correctly), but I'm not that impressed with it as far as FSX goes. It actually felt like the old Nvidia card (not sure of the model on that one, but it's about three years old now) I had in my previous computer did a better job with FSX, so I guess that there's some truth to this one. And from what Andrew shared above there's even a perfectly logical explanation to it...
  15. Great shots Joe, you show of Jankees wonderful paint job in a great way.. As for Orbx scenery in the US, they have already announced that Southern Rockies and Northern California are in development.
  16. To bad my boss already has turned 60. That would have been a real fun present for him otherwise (he's an orthopedic surgeon) :th_smiles73:
  17. :bday: Congrats Simi... have a great one And for once I got it on the right day!!
  18. Great shots Soya. You gave me a bit of a hickup with the sub-title "My last Screen shots" :th_smiles73:
  19. oops.. Can't help but wonder what went through the pilots mind when his plane started to tilt.... Probably not to many words that would pass through the filters off this board :th_smiles73:
  20. Go easy on that Fine China your hauling right now.. :th_smiles73: Was just browsing the AH webpage and saw your company name pop up on the radar just south west of Reading
  21. @Dodgy-alan: I see your Trislander and raise you an Islander
  22. Thanks guys. @Andrew: Well, I really only have the default choppers to compare with, and I haven't been flying those very much either, but it handles nicely in cruise as long as you keep your eyes on the instruments and horizon. But trying to reset your NAV1 or ADF is a hard task... found myself in rather steep turns and dives once I got my eyes back up again.. but I guess that's more of a chopper problem then related to the model itself... I guess that a 2D panel for the radios could have been helpful. As for preformance it has no impact on frames on my machine as far as I can tell. Over Ic
  23. I just got my hands on Aerosoft's new Bell 205 A-1/UH-1H, or more commonly known as the Huey. First flight was made over the cold and snowy parts of northern Iceland over the Iceland X scenery. And since I first and foremost consider the Huey a military helicopter I decided on a white livery for maximum camoflague effect :th_smiles73: Leaving a small town at the shallow end of a sea bay. Just cruising along checking out the scenery for my review. Not much to see on the ground actually, but from what I gather that's fairly accurate for these parts of the world. A very crisp and ea
