:001_th_smiles76: Just beautiful. Was about to ask for the same thing Joe asked for. To bad you lost the high res.

To be honest it's been a long while since I played a round. In fact so long that I had forgotten my password when I tried to log in to check for statistics on logged in users at the moment. Couldn't find any stats once I got in, but back last summer when I played quite a few rounds it was fairly crowded on the courses, even on the courses that were "Members only". And considering the number of players that have managed to max out their levels I'd say there's a good number of paying users. As for myself I bought a one year subscription some time last spring, and considering that the cost per

Good one Mike. A well deserved win. I'm more concerned for the glider than the C-47 though.... :icon_yikes: -
I guess I'll be holding too :th_smiles73:

To bad EA decided to scrap TW for PC :001_th_smiles48: But the online version is actually really good.

Are you really sure that's a joke @mut: ahh. I saw that post, but didn't make the connection to uncle martin.

Interesting stuff. To bad I can't see the BBC-episodes.. while it has nothing what so ever to do with my work it's a subject that I find very interesting. I'm guessing you've already read "A Brief History of Time" and "The Universe in a nutshell" by Stephen Hawkins. If not, I can really recommend them. Makes the subject understandable even to a "bean counter" like myself :th_smiles73:

PMDG announcement posted early this morning... Caused all sorts of confusion on the forum before someone remebered what date it is today :icon_thumbup:

I have to agree with the rest. The Islander is a nice little plan to fly. As for the Twotter, I have no idea. It's not (yet) in my hangar.

I kind of agree with JD on this one. I found trying to control my minions a task that was more or less boring, but I guess that one of the strong points of AH is that you can take it in any direction you want. Either press on as a lone pilot, or take on a more administrative role and plan out good routes for your pilots. But what I found most rewarding is the fact that AH got me flying to and from new airports almost every time. Just remember to check the runway type for your delivery point. I ended up trying to land my cessna on a helipad or water runway a few times :001_th_smiles48:

Just put them in place using Instant Scenery, and voila they are planted :th_smiles73:

Great shots Soya.. The UPS coming in over the coastline has to be my favorite.

Great stuff Joe. The big one almost induced a sensation of vertigo on me :icon_thumbup:

My three tries for this month. Low and slow down under.. This little OzX airstrip was a strange one, but it's not really visible on these shots. The strip is more or less shaped like a boomerang. It's called Ceres YCES, Geelong if anyone want to check it out. To find it, take of from YMAV and fly 11 miles on a heading of 227. Same theme here.. And finally, buzzing a freight ship outside Reykavik -
Well, I'm a swede myself. But I think we have a similar mindset

Great shots Captain.. That last ILS approach shot is stunning! Just a bit strange seeing a german police car is pulling over lorries in Oz

Thanks for you vote of confidence Joe... But i'm still a bit bummed out that he beat me to it And without spilling to much I can say that I wont be quite as positive as the AVSIM reviewer. Don't read to much into it, it's a good product, but there are some flaws in my opinon...

As much as I hate to admit it, AVSIM's reviewer beat me to it. They published a review last saturday that you could check out while you wait for mine...

Like Joe said I'm doing a review of Iceland at the moment so if you can hold on for a few weeks you'll get my thoughts on it. If you want advice in advance drop me a PM. I don't want to spill to much of my work on the forum before the review goes live.

I'm no expert on hardware either, but just to be sure double check that the 1155 socket runs with dual memory sticks. Some I5 & I7 processors require three memory circuits if I remember correctly. And I fully agree with Joe on the hard drives.

Way to go Jack! :icon_rockon: -
Looks good, but it felt a bit sloopy to miss the fact that the right side of the cessna have mirrored textures... :th_smiles73:

Great shots. @Joe: I'm fairly sure that Smithers is in the Pacific Fjords area. Did some flying out of there during my review work. And after refreshing my memory with the help of Google Earth it turns out Takla Narrows is also in the Pacific Fjords Area, about 54 nm east of Smithers.

The second Ed Force One shot looks really great.

A very good and informative review Jack. Reading a bit in between the lines this model sounds a bit more complex than the JF F-lite version of the A320. Can anyone that have access to both birds confirm this??
